what kind of an absolute idiot pays someone to play a video game... A VIDEO GAME... for them. It's not that important. It's just entertainment, something to do. If you have to pay someone to get things for you in the game, maybe you need to put the game down and evaluate your life.

time is way more important that money, you will understand this when you have money my friend
time is way more important that money, you will understand this when you have money my friend
Playing video games proves you don’t value time…
-
Money gives you the freedom to do what you enjoy an like. Its subjective to everyone how they value time. Your statement is absolut ignorant and your lack of understanding of the concept shows that you are no able to think that others might enjoy different activities than you do. Its does not matter what you do with your time as long as you enjoy it.
Money gives you the freedom to do what you enjoy an like.
When a reply starts with a fallacy and then goes on to say I’m ignorant.. 😂🤦♂️
-
you will understand this when you have money my friend
You don't know me "my friend." And as I explained throughout the thread money has nothing to do with it. It's like paying someone to watch a movie for you. It's a freakin' video game, it's entertainment. I would never pay someone to do my hobbies for me. That's idiotic!
-
i agree, yet it does not change the fact that time is way more valuebale than money.
-
He's right though. Time is worth more than money.

For crying out loud don't you people read? Where am I arguing against time is money? >>> I don't even know what recovs cost, and I don't care. <<< It could be free. Let's go with that, FREE. I'm arguing that people that have other people play video games for them them are idiots! It's video games! Entertainment. A hobbie. A pasttime. It's like having people watch movies for you. What's the point? "oh, i gotta have mythoclast." Once you get it then what? What satisfaction is there if someone got it for you? The whole point of video games is to meet the challenge and get that satisfaction dopamine rush like the meme of that guy that finally got gjally in D1. If you don't want to do it then what's the point of playing D2? The whole game is annoying RNG. You'd have to have people play the entire game for you which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Nobody asked for your incessant hostility. Go blow that somewhere else. You got your question answered. The end. Blocked.

Time is way more valuable than money. You can replace money. What someone does with their money is none of your business.
-
Well when its against the tos your money means nothing 😂

You only get a speeding ticket if you get caught speeding.

I mean this is like a speedometer built into your car

When even Bungie says "having your son do a lost sector wont get you banned" they contradict their own TOS. It's still someone ELSE loggin in to your account.
-
They didn't. That would be probably someone in the same household and you still have full control over your account.

It is our business when it affects how we enjoy the game that we paid for. Account recovs are considered a form of cheating. You can't possibly be condoning this, can you?
-
Personally, in pvp, I think that people who lose to recovs just want to blame something for their loss other than themselves. I don't care for recovs. Majority of us pay for services everyday. Rather it's the convenience, lack of knowledge, or it saves us time. Even if it's for a video game, it's not our place to place judgment on something we don't agree with.
-
Well, I just find it ironic that people will pay for a recov but then they'll be scratching their heads wondering why their gear or characters are missing. Some people just like to be jerks, and they'll do things like that. In my opinion, you should not risk giving up your account to someone you don't know, or even someone you do know. I get it, many people who play Destiny often have jobs to go to and families to feed. However, buyer beware.
-
Lol and that's what I find funny, wether a 2.0 recov or 2.0 main the outcome would've been the same. In my opinion if someone can Legitimately take you flawless, theirs isn't an issue, the issue is boosted ghost lobbies, because at least with getting someone else to do it they at least did it Legitimately. Vs manipulating the matchmaking to match no one and get FREE wins. Whilst a team of recovs can very easily still lose to another good team.

They’re out there. I had 2 friends do it for the crucible weapons.

Edited by aequus: 9/6/2021 5:28:24 PMThe only thing that makes sense to me is that its probably busy dads, working, dealing with kids and the wife.. So, when they do finally have a chance to play they have the weapons and gear needed to have a fun time in both PvE or PvP, but yes, I agree with ya, I also see why ppl might want to do that as well. If they have the money, and not the time its a valuable service. You have to remember a large percentage of Destinys player base is older now and have real-world responsibilities. It's more than just teens or college students with an abundance of time playing the game.

That is exactly the situation. Over the years I have had extensive conversations with gamers who perform paid carries and account recoveries. All of them told me the same thing: their customers are middle age and work as IT pros, accountants, engineers, pilots, and similar good paying positions. They cannot play every day. Often they only have time on the weekend. Without help they would never be able to reach a goal they want to pursue. Another thing these gamers told me is that it is extremely rare for someone young to have a carry or recovery. Don't ever believe that forum BS about children using their parents' money. It is total nonsense, written by clueless forum members who have no idea what actually occurs.

She has a myriad of health conditions that need addressing at a minutes notice. I play a lot, but on my terms, I may need to drop the controller at any minute. So things like raiding are just a no go as if she coughs I need stick a catheter down her tracheostomy tube to give her suction.

↑ This right here is what alot of 16+ year old don't understand. Just make money yourself and spend it the way I want. It doesn't hurt or affect you in REAL life in any way.
