Iron Banner is stil garbage mode.
Same as above. Anticheat is a lie. it is not in a game.
Matchmaking is a joke.
And I cant understand what idea is behind placing a player again and again against some stupidly better players and make him loosing game after game after game. If you don't want me to play this game then just ban me. At least I know your intentions.

Yeah i don't get why they have anticheats that does nothing and is a waste of resources. I only do pvp for pinnacle and get the hell out of there if i can but.. then there's more suffering with iron banner, i don't HAVE to i know, but the gains pve... the gains maaan... Only thing i don't find stupidly unfair is, Scorch and Mayhem those are actually fun cause i have a vastly better chance with those, i suck though but, almost every match there are some obvious cheaters. But, im gonna lose out a significant amount of gear if i don't so guess i better dust myself off.

Where normally I got the pinnacles done on three characters within one week this week I even haven't finished the pinnacles for my main Titan. Let alone Warlock/Hunter. Last one with weapon kills I move by 1% per game if at all!??? Abysmal experience.

1 ReplyThe issue is the hunting mechanic, not the actual matchmaking itself. Even the lowest skill player can win if the player is simply taking flags. I have games where I get 40+ kills and still lose because my team decided to slay instead of taking flags. I take flags but I ignore it as soon as I see 3-4 people choosing to ignore the flag and not cap. I have no reason to be the team player when the rest of the idiots want to go slay and get their montage. The funny thing is I happen to usually get the most kills and the most captures because people don’t realize capturing flags grants a ton of super energy so I get to use my super more often than those fool trying to slay. Iron banner should just be clash to be honest, let it be a shotgun fest or a sniper fest, who cares? Its no different than what we currently have

1 ReplyDon’t take pvp seriously. This games archaic peer to peer connections destroys all sense of competitiveness in the game. It’s an outdated system. Foreign players and lag switchers dominate with their worse connections. This game can never truly be competitive without dedicated servers, and the fact that Bungie is trying to push a competitive scene in a game like this is baffling. Don’t take this games pvp seriously, as it’s currently one of the biggest jokes on the FPS market for competitive shooters. Am I going to play trials? No. I’m too unstable right now to play something that stressful and strenuous, and I fully accept never having trials weapons.

1 ReplyOn console at least I’ve only ever seen one dude that I was 1000 percent sure was cheating. In gambit of all places. Popped his super 3 seconds into the round (not radiant dance machines was a void titan) Otherwise 99 percent of stuff there is just trash connections and bungie not forcing people to orbit who spike ping. It’s worst in qp because it’s f2p so that attracts all the people on Taco Bell WiFi.

Been grinding my transmog bounties in Iron Banner. I haven't found any blatant cheaters, the sandbox seems pretty solid right now (aside from shatterdive), the connection is very bad though. I can't relate to a lot of the grief about PVP on these forums. Overall I just find crucible very boring after awhile. I'm all caught up on everything this season, and it's just really boring. These seasons aren't enough content. I'd rather have huge annual drops.

1 ReplyI really don’t understand the matchmaking argument. It’s supposed to be a pinnacle PvP activity. Your bound to face players that are better then you regardless. Even in Solo Playlist.

I always thought Destiny’s pvp was great…until I played Alex Legends. I know they are vastly different games, but I really enjoy the movement and overall combat experience more.

All pvp in this game is straight trash. Shotgun sliding mythoclast wielding hunter stasis spamming garbage.

PVP needs proper matchmaking always has and always will, right now its a joke, everyone who got banned from COD is in here using thier software and making a fool out of bungie. unlimited supers, god mod take no damage, head shot, xray. all in use , I'm not imagining it, simple becaues my friend has told me he's doing it, along with all his other friends from cod, guess they suck at pvp, from what I gathered the anticheat is only active on pc so turn off your crosssave, at least you know where you stand with the people on console unless they have cheating peripherals which can be bought easlily in most gaming shops things like the UeeVii PS4 Controller Paddles, or the strike pack fps dominator, noting being done to combat these. might get one myself and have a full auto hand cannon with aim bot active, coz thats what were playing aginst, and its slowly killing pvp in destiny.

Here's another reminder that strike packs exist and XIM players are having a field day with the new sensitivity settings. Cheating is just as real and rampant on console as it is on PC. It's just harder to detect.

But when I go in there and my team loses the match and I'm the one on top of the leaderboard in my losing team, I know then something is wrong. This happens a lot too. I don't know about you guys, but either I suddenly turned into a PvP god in one match (NOT!!!) or this matchmaking is just broken. Isn't crossplay in place now? I guess that doesn't help either huh? How about p2p connection. I know antiques are good when it comes to furnitures, but in gaming? I don't know much about it but antiquated technology doesn't sound good when they want to claim this is the best action shooter in the market blah, blah, blah... In the meantime, keep lagging folks! Check your ammo too, you might be carrying blanks! And watch out for that invisible guy. He's not a hunter! In the meantime, some people are busy with other projects and expanding offices. (Laughing on the floor!!!)

But still... you know I just commented earlier on one of these posts that it's not much worse now than before but damn today has been one of the worst. Just last game I ragequit, had somebody killing me with Jotunn the moment their head came out of corner. Like there was no travel time or projectile at all. I don't even know how the connections could be this way. Also to add insult to injury I've had these "people" crawling out of some hole.. Players I've blocked years ago because of cheating or manipulation. Today I keep running into many them all the time. Maybe it's a revenge. But got bounties done, now I'm off to play some better games that actually make sense.

Match making needs fixed. The perk to get shards is worth it though.
