What’s more frustrating in the crucible? Heir apparent, or shatter dive?

Both of those need to be toned down. Edit: Some of you are complaining about chaos reach. I would understand if the rest of the tree was OP, but it’s not. Top tree dawn is way more OP.

    • Shatterdive is annoying but very predicable and punishable. Heir apparent on the other hand has no counter. And I swear if I see one more idiot who doesn't even play pvp trying to tell me that "hurr durr arc damage melts it".... clueless

      • As a shatter diving hunter, I recently decided to try Heir Apparent... literally the easiest kills I have had since D1 beta. H.A. Will surely be nerfed - it is comically easy to use. Shatter dive is as well, but in my opinion pretty much all abilities and supers in this game are stupid easy and offer very low skill kills. I’d love to see a mode with no abilities, though I understand that will not likely happen.

          You dont face check a titan because he will just open up his box of crayons. I fail to see how hunters finally having ape protection is a problem. Thats a 53sec CD with 100 dis. Give it up and get on the dawn blade h8 train that been top tier since stasis released and remained the most viable pvp choice even when stasis launched/pre-nerfs. Im sure TTD hated it when bungie released thoes analytics that put a target on their back, many of us took issue with since the TTD buff. Heir is a problem though but they said they will be nerfing it.

            Shatter dive is more easy to spam so I go with shatter dive. I laugh at anyone that says chaos reach or top tree dawn is frustrating to go against. I have no trouble with those classes, they are easy to shut down and countering chaos reach is as easy as staying near cover majority of the time. To this day I have no idea why players have a hard time countering top tree dawn, the player is a sitting duck when in the air, if you have any weapon with high caliber rounds, they literally cant touch you. If you simply move left and right then they will have a really hard time landing a shot on you. The secret to countering a flying warlock is again, stay near cover. The dash is no different than a hunter dodge and it doesn’t even break aim assist like hunters so its easy to track. You cant counter shatter dive, even behind cover, the blast is AOE and deals massive damage. Even if you somehow managed to escape the freezing from the grenade, no jumping ability from warlocks or titans are able to escape the shatter dps. The only movement ability able to escape shatter dive is icarus dash lol. Just FYI: when I say shatter dive, I’m actually talking about the shatter part of the stasis as a whole and not the actual air dive from the hunter.

                • Heir apparent personally. Shatterdive is semi avoidable once you know a player is spamming it. If someone grabbed HA, you know you are in for a bad time…

                • Shatter dive blast radius just needs reduction. Chaos reach isn't a problem it's the Geomags that are the problem and the ability to swap to them. You should have to be permeanantly wearing them to get the bonus. Heir Apparent is the worst of them all was a poorly thought put weapon to be used in PvP.

                • Neither. Shatterdive isn’t the problem, it’s the absurd ice wall mechanic. As for Heir Apparent, it’s not that big a deal. You get very little ammo from the crates, you can aim, it takes time to spin up and you’ll run out of bullets real quick.

                  Chaos reach tbh. There is way too much uptime for a super you can fire and forget. Heir Apparent isn't super difficult to maneuver around and I literally die from shatterdive maybe once every 5-10 matches. If we're pulling teeth, Heir is probably more annoying to me than shatter.
