Can't click on the war table or recover hammer of proving
In order to get around the issue that I needed to re-socket my hammer in order to progress to the next step in the season of the chosen quests, I dismantled my hammer of proving on my warlock. Now I can't click on the war table or recover the hammer at the old quests kiosk. I still have access to Battleground: Behemoth, but completing it did not return the Hammer of Proving to my inventory.
Is there any way for me to recover the Hammer or am I now locked out of all season of the chosen content?

I actually had this same issue since I didn't have access to battlegrounds for the solstice objective on my other characters. However, I was jumping around the Helm and noticed the prompt by the war table. If you are standing on top of the war table and turn around towards the recaster, the prompt access the war table should pop up. I don't have a picture of a video to demonstrate it, but hopefully this helps! Also, if I remember correctly, you can pick up the hammer from the war table too.

In season of the Splicer I attempted to progress the questline a bit on my Hunter and Titan and found I couldn’t interact with the terminal at the head of the War Table as well (although I did have the Hammer). I realized that I was able to progress the quest by instead moving slightly to the left side of the War Table and interacting with the small device located there on the table. I don’t know if one can retrieve a dismantled Hammer there, but I suppose it would be worth a shot. Failing that, perhaps you could try talking to Crow in the Helm. Hopefully you’ll find something that works. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
