How was this even remotely fair?
Went to do crucible for the pinnacle weekly, Got thrown into one match mid match, spawned in front of someone using their super, then continued to spawn in front of people using their supers 6 more times, it said breaking up the teams for better match, threw me into this. Then it said it again, and just threw the same teams against each other again. How is this even remotely fair or fun?

Working as intended. PVP games arent meant to be fair, theyre meant to feed better players, period.

And why many average players feel that they only seen as fodder to be served up to stronger players. If Bungie is going to drop you into the middle of a situation like that, you’d should spawn into the game that first time like you’ve just hit a raid banner: full super energy, full ability energy, and whatever is the spawn-appropriate level of special ammo. That way you drop in with a fighting chance and not just wind up road kill, because your so far out of sync with the flow of the match….and a punching bag for everyone’s supers. But Bungie doesn’t care enough to fix this. Because we’ve been complaining about it for YEARS.

That most likely happened because you played against a stack. TTV'ers usually NEVER queue up alone cause they need easy mode for clips and that tricks the matchmaking. If you see a TTV'er with guilded flawless, they most likely have atleast 2 other sweatlords with them in their team and you should just back out. It's not hating on streamers, it's just an observation i've made in my thousands of hours in pvp. TTV = stack = thirsty for clips = sweating in casual pvp.

Some players cant handle being outplayed so they quit and screw the matchmaking up more than it needs to be. Bungie should have better penalties to disadvantage/penalise constant bailers, should be the same as poor connection penalties imo. Players joining mid match should also be awarded super energy in proportion to their intellect and elapsed match time. But primarily the matchmaking needs complete overhaul to actually promote balanced matches and all pvp modes should have optional freelance mode.

I hate in pvp when it hits the “super phase” part of the match…where within 45 seconds of first super user the whole lobby uses their super 😂 It almost seems endless

This game got severe issues with Lobby Balancing and Spawn Mechanics. In Gamemodes like Control/Momentum Control/Iron Banner, one bad team is what it takes to create a Mercy in 3 - 5 Mins.

Played a match against all top 0.1% players in a 6 stack last night. It was even worse than this. I was in a 3 stack with some friends just trying to vibe in control, what proceeded was an aping slaughterhouse of madness, somehow these guys instantly came into our spawn and just started massacring everyone. Once i realized what was happening i simply waited for them to ape and then just yeeted them with Jotun and bagged every person i killed, i managed to get a gg from one of them because i was the only person on the team to actually do anything and get some kills... Looked up one of them and this guy had literally twice the amount of time played then i do (i play a lot) and was top 500 in rumble. There should be no reason why me and my team should have gotten matched against these guys. Insanity.

I go into crucible only in chaos or momentum control and first in season IB (when you need pinnacle drops) . Also only on first month each new season, starting second month in doing only in chaos and MC. Because that unbalanced joke don't worth my time.

Most supers occur roughly around the same time in a match...it's not that big of a deal..

I’m really glad to know it’s everyone feeling this. I feel like team balancing has been particularly horrid recently. You get 6 highly competent players playing 6 people who just picked up the game today (an exaggeration) and no wonder the game goes as bad as it does.

It’s not. When the game tries to screw you and then rub salt to injury, just quit. I check the loading screen as I fly in and if it’s 6 stack or match in progress where their is an big difference on the scoreboard, I’m out.

I have a feeling that teams no longer break up because of Round Robin team building. Bungie please fix this.
