LOOT Drop in banner is Abysmal
Can we at-least get focused drops? I’ve spend around 7 hours a day to get the new snipe with a certain role and only got one snipe. What. The. BUMP!

There's so much that needs an overhaul that Bungie have waited far FAR too long to work on. The loot system sucks ass for IB on many levels. Too much crap in the pool, we have to do a tedious quest to unlock the ability to drop the new IB weapons, etc. The new valor reset system sucks thanks to pointless caps on things like upgrade modules. If I'm capped on upgrade modules and can't or don't want to infuse anything, I guess I can't reset my valor rank now...

The spoils system could work for ib. Once you earned something you can focus on it with coins. With a quest that makes sure you unlock everything.

U notice how the ib vender isn't updated like how the vanguard and crucible and gambit vender is updated. U would think by now bungie would have updated that so we could atleast have daily bounties and repeatable ones too. After u get the 4 bounties done there really isn't much of a reason to keep playing ib. I mean if they want us to keep playing it atleast update the damn vender already lol.

1 ReplyJust so you know for sure, you don’t have to do the IB quest to get the new guns, at least I didn’t. As for your claim the best way to input targeted loot would most likely be focusing for weapons or armor. Maybe like 5 extra tokens for a primary weapon only, or a heavy weapon only etc. Also just more tokens wouldn’t hurt. Each bounty gives you 50 tokens, enough for 2 engrams. The bounty takes about an hour or so roughly to get done.

Well all i rarely ever get what im going for from the pinnacle drops, legit ive gotten 4 sidearms one week on he same character So i feel that pain

I remember just grinding banner like a mindless zombie in d1 for every second I could spare, just so I could lvl up or get that beautiful god roll, and the drops were worse than they are now. I hated it but at the same time that feeling of acquirement was like no other 😎

1 ReplySmoothbore, light mag, quickdraw, iron reach with a range masterwork. That's the shotgun I got. Too bad I'm not an ape. Got a nice Survivor's Epitaph with extended barrel, ricochet rounds, feeding frenzy, and high impact reserves with a stability masterwork. A second one with the same roll, but Outlaw. Got some good armor drops too. All in the 12 games it took to finish the bounties. I think maybe you try too hard. The game isn't fun if you're after specific rolls on everything.

Has been since D2 launched when they introduced Tokens as the method to get loot. Not a new thing after all these years.
