What was the reason of Stasis introducing if this subclass is literally unplayable after nerf???

    Bungie - we want to bring it in line with the light subclass Me - Why it's outdated The main point is ppl trying call this balance but it is not you got a Old outdated subclasses trying to compete with a new system that benefits you more then the old system that has not changed since D2 year 1 what's the point in that no matter how many times you nerf it Stasis will overlap the other three the best thing they should have did is just removed it from Pvp till the light subclasses got revamped this also the reason why Alot of ppl want Pvp and Pve sandbox separated I'm not even a Titan main and I saw happened to that class is a good example

    • They should have just skipped over stasis (freezing/slowing just doesn't fit this game) and gave us whatever the next class is going to be. Knowing Bungie they would have screwed that up too.

      • The only reason people think stasis is unplayable now is because it was released completely broken. Give it a week and I’m pretty positive stasis will still be more played and have a higher win rate than subclasses like voidwalker, arc strider and sunbreaker

          • Did Titans get whacked by the nerf? Didnt hop on today to check. I never ran stasis in PvE that much since the super was an more of an annoyance for people on my fireteam.

              • I play both and I think stasis was introduced poorly. The light subclasses have been "balanced= overnerfed" (not all but many). There was no stasis counter in the beginning. Then bungie continues with the imbalance by only giving one class biots that reduce freezing. There should have been introduced new mechanics and exotics to interact with stasis. Some example ideas: - solar subclasses get unfrozen when using an ability - exotics that make you harder to freeze like the titans boots - a frozen enemy takes no damage unless shattered / a specific fragment is used -teammates can shoot you out of ice / unfreeze you with abilities solar guns etc. It would have helped with build crafting. Those are just a few ideas of the top of my head, I'm not a game developer. It should have been clear to them that a Freezing immobilizing subclass is too overpowered in PvP when you are frozen for 5s and the TTK on average is under 1s... Really cool idea, poor execution. Also I feel buffing other subclasses to make them more interesting and offer a real alternative should habe been the first course of action... In PvE I like stasis, it feels "cool" and powerful. Now the consequence will be getting slightly worse subclasses because of poor pvp implementation... Those nerf wagons are really annoying ... Balancing is one thing, nuking entire classes is another... Anyways have a nice day!

              • Both shade binder and reverent still seem to be a decent option tbh, which is a shame cos you'd hope they would have balance them instead of nuking titan and only a standard nerf to the other two
