Bungie yet again is taking the silent rout and ignoring the problem. Also the TWAB was MEH at best.
Edit: A compromise
So I have been thinking on a compromise to the transmog issue. After reading many posts and videos. I have come up with a couple compromises.
Transmog
If Bungie must have a cap the grind should be reduced to one step or reasonable in game currency purchase up to the cap.. Ie glimmer or shards.
Or
If Bungie removes cap grind should be increased. Silver purchase to skip grind.
Shader changes
Shader cost should stay the same(40) if uses any in game material to apply to armor.
Or
Shader price should go up to 150 Bd but completely remove the cost to apply to armor. ( 300 bd is pointlessly high for a shader.)
Any other productive suggestions welcome.

2 RepliesNot open to debate. This system lands in 8 days.

Why would there be communication….it’s nonnegotiable 🤷🏼♂️
-
So because they said something YOU didn’t want to hear then said nothing when YOU wanted a fix (in YOUR mind) They’re not Communicating? What’s the common denominator here? No one is forcing you to buy anything. No one says you have to ornament everything that’s ever been released. Is it a little greedy on their Part? Maybe so But that would also depend on who was asked. I don’t know how much overhead and labor went into transmog. But they are a business. And they will try to make money. Lucky for us we don’t have to spend a dime. If we don’t want to. And still get to transmog our favorite looking gear. It’s really a non issue. Unless you’re a drama Queen.

4 RepliesThere was nothing in the twab to get excited about. Nothing absolutely nothing.
-
5 RepliesAnd yet all of you will keep playing. And alot of you will buy silver to transmog. The issues not bungie. Its the players.

At this point, staying with Destiny 2 is like staying in an abusive relationship and saying your partner will "get better". I check in to see if they're getting their shit together and, sometimes, they almost convince me they have, but then they do something stupid like this "transmog" and I know they ain't changed shit.
-
They won't say anything because they're isn't a problem if anyone looks at the money they make from eververse why would they take it away if people continue to buy the cosmetics and such bungie will keep selling the cosmetics

6 RepliesIgnoring what? Transmog was explained. Use it or don’t... all I want is better and more exciting ornaments for my money.
-
2 RepliesI thought we already understood transmog?
-
what were they supposed o do come in last minute and just change it after one week of people crying . especially if Bungie actually likes the system they put in place. if it changes it wont be until next season.
-
Maybe that's because it's not a problem for them
-
9 RepliesIt's the norm when it comes to this company. They have been at for 6 years, that they have gotten really good at hiding and ignoring certain situation hoping it will go away 👍

5 RepliesI don’t care about the cap at all. I care that they left out the majority of the armor people want to Transmog. Year 1 items being sunset and vaulted is what really gave Transmog traction. Then it’s advertised as just that. Then SURPRISE! Transmog doesn’t actually include ANY of the desirable year 1 stuff. That’s “ being worked on “. Give me a break
-
Ignoring transmog problem and selling more fkng blues as good news, what a joke twab
-
3 RepliesThey will pretend the topic doesn’t exist. Until, it’s out for a month, and they cash in on the whales. Then they will address it and reign it in. That’s the Bungie Way.
-
14 RepliesBungie’s revenue stream is at 500 million, annually. Average employee (1,000 of them) salary is 103k. They’re greedy and everyone should know it. The transmog system is garbage.

Quite resolve is a form of communication. And there had better be a resolvlution that there will be a 6v6 mode with full* character control for everyone for the entirety of the match, regardless of what happens to them. What is the big deal if you aren't going to put any money into transmog btw? They added monetization to something that wasn't there before and the way I see it, if there's going to be monetization its better that way than for it to be added to something that already exists. Of course that doesn't mean they should just monetize everything new but... at the end of the day its fashion. Its cosmetic and the person who is going to spend a ton of money on something like that either knows exactly what they are doing or oh well.

20 RepliesWhat's their to communicate? Their gonna make a ton of money and you crying won't stop it.

10 RepliesEdited by UnleashedArcher: 4/29/2021 11:42:22 PMI'd rather hear about changes to perks, mods and weapons rather than a cosmetic system everyone is butthurt about.

1 ReplySo same old Bungie different day?

28 RepliesYou not liking how Bungie plans to implement transmog is your problem, not Bungie's.
-
Yeah I didnt or dont really care about the thought process of everything. Just a bunch of word vomit to take up space.

I don’t think this is getting changed anytime soon. If they just give you everything right out of the gate you don’t stay on the wheel as long.

8 RepliesGreat another week of people whinging over the transmog😱😂
