MMO = massively multiplayer online right? So why force players to play solo for a chance to get something new in an mmo? Solo play doesn't seem to match up with mmo mechanics. Just saying...

There’s a lot of solo content in other mmos for rewards, for example Final Fantasy 14 has you solo your class advancement or even solo dungeons

But the class advancement is not rng so you don't have to continually replay that content and hope you get it. Also that game has item trading witch most other mmos have.
