People glue the meta to their own hands. That's how it is. I don't think it becomes a "crutch" until comeone is reliant on it though. Just because someone uses the meta doesn't mean they need it to compete. However, we're gonna see a lot of people not be able to swap to their shotgun fast enough when their primary shot blows. That'll be a fun week in Crucible. Not gonna lie.
