So wait, are you implying that people should just not change the weapons they use? Or that they should purposely use weapons that are not as good as others?
Like will you only be happy when the entire crucible population is using blue weapons? “Git Gud” would involve having an understanding of the current meta, and anti-meta and using said meta.
Gotta used the best to be the best... well except that I wipe the floor in control using literally any weapons, but then again, I’ve already “got gud”

Each time we do a META shift, it slowly kills the game and kinda gets closer to a balance or it goes way off. We have META shift for so long that this game that it has become a norm and could even be classified as a sense of balance in Bungie and some the community’s eyes. I use what I want in whatever game mode I want and has never looked at the META shifts as a means of changing my loadouts but more of what I will be dealing with for the season to come as well as how I will counteract it with my game sense and weapons and armor of my choosing.

I dont play other games and I sure those other games have better solutions and servers for those shifts. All Destiny does is META shifts while not addressing all the issues within the game. You cant META shift if you arent going to address the maps, the weaker archetypes, players abilities, and so on and so forth.
