Calling someone's strongest loadout a crutch shows your ignorance of the competitive side of PvP. If you expect PvP players to stick with weaker weapons then you are a bit foolish. You use the word competitive...that means its about winning, not derping.
People are finding new loadouts because the perks have/are getting hit so those guns will not act the same. Going ahead and finding replacements when you know whats coming is the smart thing to do instead of waiting and getting shit on once the change comes....kinda sounds a bit like ensuring you have enough skill with said weapons...you know...gitting gud with them!
Finding something else that's strong in a game with hundreds of weapons is kinda what you're meant to do.
The reason Bungie force meta changes is for that exact reason.

If the weapon doesnt work the same way due to the nerf and you move to something better doesnt change the fact that the weapon itself made you good and not your skills. I use the word “competitive” lightly because isnt nor will be competitive. So get that thought out of your head about the winning being the reason something has to be competitive. Plus that loadout you speak of is a loadout handed down from Bungie because they refuse to balance. While you are defending your Bungie’s crutch because you lack the skills to win in any mode without them, the rest of us are “Gitting Gud” via our own loadouts and skill sets.

Wrong. My theory behind weak minded people is they refuse to use their own skills nor try with any and everything to get the job done. It is easy to always use the best tool in anything in life but what makes you ever more skilled is when your skills are naturally good with or without the best tool. You keep your crutch though. I will do things my way and not rely on something each season to make me feel competitive or give off the sense of skill when it is truthfully lacking in theory.

This is a video game dominated by weapon perks and ability cooldowns. Your whole speech there is a shining example of how you are so far off base its pathetic. You want to lose to guns with better perks in the comp side of the game due to your own self inflicted sense of pride or superiority then go ahead. Get that through your thick skull. I am not condescending though. These are merely facts. It has been happening since this game launched. META shifts constantly and players associate it calling themselves “skilled” or “competitive” and it is far from it. A competitive player would find “competitiveness” in using the average to worst weapons in this game to beat the Bungie’s favorites weapons for the season. If anything, if you are going from season to season changing your loadouts based off of tbe patch notes and not improvement of your playstyle, then how are truly challenging yourself. Plus playing with the same loadouts all the time regardless of game mode is simply practice and perfect logic. It is like throwing the same punch a thousand times and getting better with it but rejecting anything else.

Been using them along with others since day one. I change it up but use the best when in comp. Not everyone jumps on metas, but those who want to actually win will do so.

See the thing is I have an opinion too. And the way you have stated yours is offensive since it clearly compares making changes due to integral things being changed to a lack of skill. If you cannot see that then you really are just a self important -blam!-. And not one player claims bungies meta shifts are balance. We see that they use it in an attempt to find balance that will never come to this game because of the way the perks and abilities are so dominant. Changing what you use because stuff is made less effective by nerfs or stronger by buffs is what this game is about. If you want to spend your whole time using the same guns for years on end then go ahead.
