I really don't get this mentality, like all the big PvP streamers are actually garbage and the only reason why they do well is because they "cRuTcH tHe MeTa."
I'm sorry, but any good player is going to beat a bad player even if they're using off-meta loadouts.
Also hardly anyone considers this game competitive, even the streamers you're complaining about.
I also use a lot of off-meta stuff, but I understand why people like to run the meta and I don't knock them for doing so.
Reading through some of your replies about how you "can't touch the META period," you honestly just sound like a contrarian.

Yeah thing is those same streamers are the ones who complained about sbmm forcing them to use sweaty loadout and unable to experiment with diffrent things that often. Yet they remove sbmm and all they did was use the same meta weapons regardless. That's why we call them crutches. If you cant go a day without having to use felwinters in pvp. Then you crutch on it.

I have yet to see a single streamer that I know complain about sbmm (if my memory serves me correctly)

Back when sbmm was in they complained about being forced to use the meta along with lag when they weren't getting their highlight shots. Now fast forward to today when we still have cbmm no sbmm except supposedly iron banner. They are still using the meta. They dont switch out and try new things unless it's for a video. They still complain about lag and now having non skilled teammates.

Yea SBMM was brutal for me because all I fought was sweats but it was completely unbearable how it is now. I still used whatever loadout I wanted and stayed clear of the META still top fragging some matches and getting destroyed in others.

I preferred sbmm. For me I experienced less laggy players, close matchs, less stacked teams as a solo player, every match win or lose I feel like it's an even playing field.

We need 2 playlists that compose of SBMM and CBMM. Each has their own rotation of modes govern by the 3V3 and 6V6 style. That way everybody can be happy. If they decided to go with this style and add the structure of matchmaking to be govern by team structure versus stats, I feel we could have a better system.

All of those things are great but Bungie will never implement any of that.

Yea I know. Most of their minds are built around making money the hard way rather than the easy way. If you make the game with common sense, the game will become even more unique than the rest and the money will come in even more. The only reason this game is staying afloat is because of the community, once that float sinks, they will become worst than Anthem or any of those Destiny supposedly killers.
