if you are not planning to let PC matchmaking with console UNLESS console players invite a PC player?
your dying PC community will continue to shrink.
I was actually a bit excited about cross play, because I thought to myself that I will finally be able to play with variable teams as opposed to right now where I have to play against the same teams over and over and over again because apparently the matching making can't find anyone else.
but nope, commonsense is a thing that doesn't exist in Bungie.
Edit :
I forgot to mention that Bungie decided to nerf M&K controls "in preparation for crossplay" LOL! why nerf the controls if you plan to severely limit the matchmaking with console players?
see, I told you. no common sense at all.

Did you miss all the threads last week of console players refusing cross play PvP if opt out wasn't an option?

7 RepliesPc players don’t want to play against console players for a challenge. They want it so they can use mouse for aiming that consoles can’t do allowing them to beat console players even if the pc player has no skill. Of course console players should get to block out pc players in pvp. No reason to ruin console player’s experience to suite a “dying community”.

It's not just between PC and Consoles. The big thing is being able to link up with friends between both PS4/5 and Xbox consoles.
-
It’s not like you worse off. I’m a console player and very much plan to be playing with my PC friends. I have also heard that the recoil change was nearly unnoticeable.

7 RepliesIt's the other way around. Console players won't match with PC(Cheaters/Win Trading Server/Trials canceling jerks) unless PC invites a Console player.

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 3/12/2021 1:13:24 AMM&K have a clear advantage over controller even with the aim assist of the latter. Ive played on both PC and console and its far easier to hit crits with M&K Then take into account the macros and customisation of M&K and its quite clear and understandable why many console players want the option. Now back to the reason for crossplay and its quite obvious - larger player pools provide shorter matchmaking times and bigger LFG player base.

3 RepliesPretty sure that is for pvp only, pve will be a big ole mixed bag of fun

Could always get a console.

Playing with friends...? And it's a modern gaming necessity

40 RepliesIf pc is dying then it should die. No reason whatsoever to kill the console playerbase just to improve pc.

Funny they wasted hundreds of hours making mnk feel worse for no reason. Everyone should be mad.
