So -blam!-ing sick of having one or two games where everything feels crispy, then my next 5 nothing lands, have ppl disappearing that are near the top of the lobby. When is Bungie going to quit being huge -blam!-ing greedy jerks and quit taking advantage of people?

5 RepliesNumber one rule of the forums have been broken. Don’t post after losing a crucible match
-
That’s the secret patent, the algorithm in place. Activision might’ve dropped them but their matchmaking system remains

17 RepliesFunny enough this game servers are still miles better than cod and apex 😂 Play those games and shoot ghost rounds while being killed 5 feet behind walls Gives me that black ops 2 on ps3 WiFi nostalgic vibes.. I love it
-
3 RepliesYeah their matchmaking is garbage, but how is this P2P exactly? You make a bad point

8 RepliesEdited by Sage: 3/9/2021 11:14:41 AMAbout 4 years ago I was told by multiple forum users that dedicated servers would require a STEEP MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION and that IT WOULDNT DO ANYTHING BENEFICIAL for us.... I thought that was hog wash considering all the games I do play with Dedicated Servers for free. Also we practically pay a subscription already every 3 months + the major DLC drop a year. Multiple people thought dedicated servers were a bad idea- sadly I can't link the thread anymore- but holy god we got what the fan base at the time asked for.

15 RepliesDedicated servers wont fix peoples connections. 🤷♂️

3 RepliesI recently switched to pc and felt it was much worse. Is that just the case? I don't remember it being this bad on console.
-
2 RepliesThis games entire netoworking coding is garbage. That's why even in solo play the AI enemies teleport.
-
we know
-
16 RepliesMy connection is flawless 99.5% if the time, and certainly feels equivalent to games I play that have dedicated servers.
Sorry, all out of salt.
4 RepliesHad a bad couple games I see
-
I'm sure there's some ways to blame this on Activision
-
It's cheap and laughable, but on the other hand it makes players leave the game.

🎮 = 🗑 😂😂😂 Logic!

3 RepliesEdited by Cryen-7: 3/9/2021 5:12:46 PMAdd to this players dropping comp games and matchmaking not finding new one to even out teams. Bungie logic is that it is unfair to add players to loosing team, yeah how about if were winning 3-0 tight game and then we loose teammate? This is frustrating and then players just start to jump of the edges to end the game sooner, because the -blam!- punishment system that should work so that after one leaves the two others could also just leave without punishment and requeue to play -blam!-ing fair.

8 RepliesOkay, so I can't keep pretending not to notice that something drastic has happened to this game over the course of the last week. What some people might be seeing is the effects of the drastic, but for me literally everything in the game somehow got better. The sound, movement, literally everything is better. This is something that the game has shown glimpses of basically since BL came out and especially since the update they talked about in the twab, but now everything seems to really have come together. Its so so weird to because I realized that a lot of what we have been complaining about in PvP is things that whatever this drastic is had to do as the drastic was introduced, so some people may still be seeing the effects of that. We've also basically been told about this stuff several times in previous twabs and now it really seems to be taking place. For me at least, I'd really like to know if anyone else notices things being quite different. It might not be something you notice as much if you are already on a Ps5 but even then it still seems like a lot of the stuff is just running in better "coordination" I guess I could say. Can't think of a word to describe it right now.

P2p was great in 1999 are you saying they improved upon 1990s tech
-
10 RepliesI agree that Bungie needs dedicated servers over P2P. Reason we actually have P2P is because they are still using old call of duty servers. They bought rights to like a few servers but it would be better on dedicated servers. It would help cut down on hackers by some small number at least and fix things like server lag but theres still possibly gonna be issues.

PVP in general is trash. Cant hit people because they teleport like the frakkin Taken. Even when the connection is decent it feels like half my shots go through them and dont register. There is so much flinch in PVP that gun battles feel more a long the lines of RNG rather than skill (I say this in reference to primaries). Its no wonder everyone relies on shotguns, its the only thing that works with decent consistency.
-
3 RepliesDisagree. I am enjoying the content I paid for, I can't imagine playing F2P.
-
Sometimes its like the only reason they have pvp is to validate that they have one.
-
2 RepliesAgreed. I shouldn’t need a router with a geofilter to play people on my continent in pvp.
-
8 RepliesIs this actually a thing? I have played over a thousand hours and rarely do I experience connectivity issues unless there is some sort of mass outage or issue. Not to be offensive but how is your personal connection?
-
Come on Bungie. At least have them for competitive things like world first raids, and crucible.
-
Trust me you don’t want dedicated severs. They have to be maintained. Bungie can’t even keep up with their broken shit now. If they had dedicated severs this game would be going offline randomly for days on end.

Shouldn't you be mad about F2p and not P2P?
