Honestly for a paid game Destiny's grind becomes a bit too much sometimes. I get the point of an MMO, it's about grinding stuff to get better loot. Sometimes it can feel a lil bit like work, but that's the whole point. When you get the thing you wanted it feels good.
Destiny has just become too much grind for me. I don't have the time for it anymore, nor do I have the will. It's a bit too much for a game I PAY for. Why should I pay money to just go do chores? I'd much rather go play a game that just gives me enjoyment right away.

I'm not disrespecting destiny, but I really like how outriders is going to do the mod and leveling up gear system. I'm still going to play destiny, but I wish bungie would make some better changes to upgrading, infusion and mods. It's just getting too expensive to be fun. I'd prefer a simpler system to be able to try out several builds. I'd probably play more content if they did this, but bungie focuses more on the boring chore grind and being stingy so it leaves little time to do much else.

Destiny isn’t even that grindy compared to most games that have some degree of it. The only real “grind” is getting a decent light level.

And grinding materials needed to upgrade your armor.

It’s extremely easy to get masterwork materials.

If you want to live in nightfalls. I think that is the point. Who wants to farm the same thing over and over again for hours, not to mention having to go into lfg and hope your team mates are using a proper loadout and can make it through.

It’s still a very easy process though. You’ve also got a lot of other sources for cores and prisms.
