After todays Hotfix 3.1.0.1, upon loading Destiny 2 and selecting "Press (A) to PLAY" the game verifies content. At this point I get an Xbox Error Message saying "Problem Reading game Content. Please close and restart Destiny 2 to try again." Restarting does nothing. Hard Restart does not fix. Clearing Cache does not fix.

If that doesn’t help, you may want to uninstall the game, clear your cache, and reinstall the game. If that doesn’t help either, you may want to move Destiny 2 onto a different hard drive to see if issue persists.
