Why tf is there heavy kills again??? I have only managed to get two so far bc of everyone hogging the ammo and sweats on the other team. Couldn't it have been ability or something other than heavy kills?
I don’t understand the complaint. You just need to focus on heavy control for a few games. When your team pulls it you can all take it. If you’re playing solo it’s harder without coordination, but heavy control is a part of all game modes, so it’s not like an extra task.

You got lucky then. Getting the kills isn’t a matter of skill, it’s a matter of if a degenerate stasis user isn’t nearby.
You got lucky then. Getting the kills isn’t a matter of skill, it’s a matter of if a degenerate stasis user isn’t nearby.
^excuses people make to explain their performance. I didn’t get lucky, I did it on two characters in one day. It’s not difficult. If you have heavy you should get one kill minimum and stasis shouldn’t be able to stop you.

But the current META has put heavy on the Backfoot, and combine that with how much stasis inhibited your movement and locks you down, not to mention how you essentially have to camp heavy if you want to get it. I might just always be at the wrong place at the wrong time, but I spent the entire time yesterday getting that step done. They could have 2 heavy spawn points, would help with the greed a bit. Stasis just didn’t allow for the type of gameplay that most heavy’s induce, so it was a challenge. Oh I forgot to mention Kill stealing, easily added another 3 kills that were needed.

The last time that they had this as part of the Iron Banner for the quest it was the second to last part of the quest, and it damned near killed the whole thing. Heavy doesn't spawn that often in the Iron banner, and when it does, with this as part of the quest, people are literally shoving others out of the way to get the danged heavy. Plus depending on ones connection to the game in the first place, trust me, this should NEVER have been brought back into the IB quest line at all.

Heavy spawns three to four times a game, all you need to do is focus on it and it’s a non-issue.

Thats fine and all but just because it worked out like that for you doesn't mean it works out like that for everyone.
Thats fine and all but just because it worked out like that for you doesn't mean it works out like that for everyone.
It won’t work out the same for everyone because there are different skill levels. That doesn’t mean the quest needs to be changed. Focus on completing it and it will get done faster.

Actually it is an issue, considering that D2 is a per to per game, which means that not everyone's connections are the same. Meaning that lag that you sometimes see from other players is their connection going screwy on them (depending, sometimes it's not the connection, some times it's something else). Either way, the heavy in IB (I guess now depending on which version you play, regular or Freelance) does not spawn up that often. Plus what doesn't help things is if you get mercy in the match, then that heavy is very much out of the question. No, depending on the player, it's not a non-issue in the slightest.

Focus on it and finish it faster or don’t focus and it will take longer. It’s not difficult in any way to get 10’heavy kills. I’ve been playing IB all day and I see 3-4 spawns every game without a mercy. If you don’t like it’s that fine, but it’s not an issue for the game.

You’re wrong. It is an issue. So much so that Bungie auto completed the quest step the last time they did this.
