Stasis is broken and honestly has ruined this game
In trials everyone uses stasis like literally u can't even use other supers without getting frozen

Edited by Sonnabirk: 1/25/2021 11:37:59 AMI was a bit disappointed that the stasis preacts before my burning maul, that was disappointing I activated Burning maul and was just about to hit the ground with my axe when I was solid frozen. Shouldn't fire melt that and not put me in a frozen state? My burning maul was already activated.

maybe they should make a playlist without abilities and just pure gun play? but wait. Then they had had to balance the weapons in pvp

It didn’t ruin the game though it does need balancing also trials is only bad due to cheating

Pvp- not so much. but for me.. it felt unbalanced and annoying before Stasis emerged. in destiny people have swords, rocket launchers with tracking, and super abilities that can either instakill you, go invisible and kill an entire fireteam, throw grenades with special properties and shock dive you from really high - pvp never felt balanced to me, it's just a whole new level of broken now that people will eventually get used to. What they should do and would be neat - is Light subclass only pvp mode and Dark subclass only pvp mode - then we'll see what people really love playing light vs dark.

1 ReplyYea its literally -blam!-ing garbage and should be removed from pvp. The slow mechanics, the freeze mechanics. The -blam!-ing stupid ohk no skill, no gun usage trash needs stripped from the mode. I'm so -blam!-ing sick of seeing ice war matches. No nerf is enough for these subclasses. They need to go.

Stasis I s not broken and is the best thing to come along in D2 in a long time. Crucible is actually fun now. And I don’t main pvp. But I’m enjoying the crucible this season. Sucks to not be able to enjoy it? I guess?

Agreed. Movement was the only skill gap left since players can main special weapons now. And with stasis movement has been taken away. Honestly I’ve been looking for another pvp game since the introduction of stasis.

I tried running sentinel. Got my super.. blocked.. got frozen and deleted. Never again.

Stasis is fun in pve. Slightly broken. But in pvp, the fact that its so strong against any other light supers or abilities can be very frustrating. Although, I did have a laugh when I got frozen mid missile titan. Fell to the floor like a rock in the superman pose hahaha.

As long as pvp is determined by who has more patients hiding being a door with a shotgun and who has the worse ping. Stasis will only be a drop of water to the bucket of problems plaguing pvp. Ppl make the argument that destiny is a pve game. Well there is no pve. Sunsetting killed that, the loot we do have is undesirable and the missions either painfully boring or again having no loot. And pvp has been neglected to the point it’s a joke. Truth is destiny isn’t a pve or pvp game. It doesn’t exist in either, it’s just a pass time until something better comes along.
