Ill keep it simple. Include a system that allows us to upgrade a select amount of old gear from sunsetted seasons when they're added back in the loot drop pool. To turn around what a certain loathsome person said, just because the sun sets, doesnt mean it wont rise again, and milk going bad is how cheese was invented.
-
Even simpler, just add more loot...

I think you're all missing a key part of the OP here:
allows us to upgrade a select amount of old gear from sunsetted seasons when they're added back in the loot drop pool.
That being said, I agree wholeheartedly.

1 ReplyI do not see y everyones shooting down this guy, this is a genius idea if excuted properly, and would fix the issue of sunsetting for a lot of players. It's like you guys don't want the game to improve.
-
So I can upgrade my Revoker and recluse?
-
I like the idea
-
The whole point of sunsetting is to leave behind old gear in new activities. This would be pointless.
-
7 RepliesPeople would then just go back to Not Forgotten, Recluse, Revoker, Ect. Boo 👎👎👎
-
they let that stuff go for a reason. seems past time for people to let go as well.

47 RepliesLOL.
He’s a terrible person because his ideas for the video game he’s designing don’t match what I want!!!1
1 ReplyMore MT baby!

2 RepliesGame lacks new gear, not D1 or zombie gear that should have been retired. The plethora of crap random-rolls is the problem which fills the game with incessant instancing every time you load in. The loot should be about rotating perks on base archetypes. The rest is just cosmetic anyway.
-
1 ReplyLol, assuming they want that stuff to come back. Since they sunset them, they want them to be not relevant in endgame activities. Just let it go....
-
1 ReplyThey do it its called reprised gear lol
-
1 ReplyEveryone would just use it weapons like The Mountaintop, The Recluse, and 21% Delirium, perpetuating the power creep problem that Power Limits were implemented to halt.
