So found a possible fix on Reddit, the following two settings can be tweaked to improve frames
name="force_enable_multi_threaded_render_submit" value="0" />
Changing this setting to 1 also increased frames, not sure if it will work for all
PS. THIS SETTING CAN CAUSE FLICKERING ON SOME PARTS OF DESTINY, FOR EX. EUROPA, TROSTLAND...
(Apparently this below setting is for Nvidia users, however it seemed to have helped with my AMD)
<cvar name="low_latency_mode" value="1" />
To turn off Reflex Low Latency functionality, set the value to 0. This may slightly improve framerate at the expense of latency.
Default Reflex Low Latency functionality is enabled when the value is set to 1.
When the value is set to 2, Reflex Low Latency with Boost is enabled. This feature overrides the power saving features in the GPU but can provide slight increases in latency reduction.
The file is located (on Windows) at %appdata%\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs
PS. Not sure if this is again COC, use at your own discretion!

Edited by Sailor Venus: 11/16/2020 3:08:19 PMEnable multi thread render in cvars gives a very large increase in fps, but causes strong flickering shadows, very sad.

<cvar name="hdr_output" value="0" /> If it's set to 1, set it to 0. That should return the game to the old lighting.

Edited by EMJzero: 11/16/2020 5:51:05 PMThis seems to work at least a bit, I regained some FPS, I'm not back to before BL, but anyway, thank you! I'll update the main post!

This does not solve the problem with flickering shadows.
-
That's the problem of multi_threaded_render_submit and the reason why it's set to 0 by default.

I know, but changing in parameter <cvar name="hdr_output" value="0" /> also does not give results, fps still drops.
