I still don't see why ppl do this. Marriage is an outdated religious concept. I cannot fathom why ppl who NEVER go to church or practise a religious life insist on marriage.
Also, getting married in a video game is ridiculous.

Being married isn't always a blast, but it sure beats "internet relationships."
-
Also a videogame marriage is completely psychotic.

marriage is was turned secular when the gov't made you pay for a license from the them to get it "official" and be able to take advantage of secular "perks"... death benefits, tax benefits, etc. millions of people cohabitate as "married" every day without getting a government stamp of approval. but without the government stamp of acknowledgment, i.e. license, they don't get perks. my brother in law and his wife did this for years until it was found that if they had the government "bless" it, they were at an economic disadvantage. plus, without the gov't blessing, if there is cheating, etc, there is no recourse. basically marriage is now just a legal contract between individuals which can then be enforced by gov't action.

Thats probably why people with no concept of hard work or the difference between love and lust should not get married

You don't have to get married.. ..but it's for the romance and celebration. It's not for everyone.. ..love comes in a rainbow of differences. It's the harmony that matters.

In America, there's a bunch of incentives for getting married. My brother & sister in law actually got married a year before their wedding just so he could put her on his health insurance.
-
You are technically married when you sign the marriage license. The wedding is just religious tradition anyways.

That's what I'm saying. They went to the courthouse & did all the legal stuff to get the benefits, then had a wedding the next year.

Yeah. While I get the OPs “want”, it’s in no way a need and I’d rather them do things to benefit everyone for the betterment of playing the game, not add some arbitrary things that always end up being PR stunts anyways. I know people who can conduct a wedding via Zoom meeting so they can easily fulfill their want to get hitched regardless of the germ issue.
