Come on, Bungie. We know you have no love for the player base. Its why you took away all of the great exotics from the first game, and locked them behind PvP requirements for the second game. Some exotics which took significant amounts of RNG or PvP grinding in the first place(Looking at you, Thorn,) which now require a rehash and a decent amount of grief to acquire again. All I'm saying is, let the PvE'ers and solo players use an alternative path to obtain all of the team/pvp-required exotics. Some of us have invested significant amounts of money and time into this franchise, only to be dumped like radioactive waste. Before everyone just chimes in, "Just play PvP and get it over with," or "LFG for a group," this post isn't just for me. How many new players will be entering the community, because of Beyond Light, and won't be able to experience all of the great items and weapons that are locked behind activities that they may never have the chance to play? Pinnacle weapons(special legendaries) that are oppressive are fine being locked behind pinnacle activities(Mountaintop/Recluse/etc.) If everyone could have just killed 1,000 hive to get Mountaintop, it would have seen a nerf or change to how it was obtained immediately. However, almost all exotics are *more* balanced across all game modes, so shouldn't they be a bit more accessible for everyone? I'm also not advocating for hand-holding at the same time. I will glady kill 100,000 hive, or obtain 100,000 candy during the FotL event, just to not have to absolutely slog through PvP with a hand cannon for Thorn. All I'm asking, Bungie, is to be a bit more considerate.
