RNG. What happens when no matter what you do, it still never changes.
So, this post will be about my neglected child - my Hunter. I am a Titan main, middle child is Warlock, and my Hunter is my neglected child. With that being said, I have recently been pouring more and more hours to my Hunter because - ever since Armor 2.0. came out - he STILL, to this very day, hasn't had a 60+ stat roll Celestial Nighthawk. I am STILL using the one from my collections. I have done everything from playing with clan mates, buying Xur's 97-legendary shards offer every week as well as checking to see if he's selling it, grinded the Master Nightfall Ordeals - regardless if they were double rewards or not - used all the exotic engrams on my season pass on him . . . . And, yet, from all of that, I STILL do not have a Celestial Nighthawk that I want to masterwork. Instead, I get repeat exotics that I wind up dismantling. I must have gotten 7 to 8 Ruiju's Harnesses, Raiden Flux's, Sealed Ahamkara Grasps and other exotics armor pieces I DON'T need! But ONE Celestial Nighthawk? Nope. Nada. Zilch. What is going on? It's as if the RNG on this ONE SPECIFIC EXOTIC is like -999999999!!! Bungie, what did my poor Hunter do to deserve this long line of bad luck?

1 ReplyHow is it even possible to chase a stat roll on exotics when the drop rate on exotics is almost non-existent? You're kidding yourself. They need a way to reroll exotics like in D1, or to increase the drop rate.

Do any of these stats really make a difference, I've not bothered with them since I got back into the game and haven't really noticed anything.

Earned several hundreds of ascendant shards, thousands of prisms, still using stompees, dunemarchers and transversive steps from collection. But hundreds of stags, aeon swift, and the like trash. There is nothing you can do. This is bungie’s Destiny. Rewarding players with poop.

I force myself to switch mains every other season . So as not to be stuck with the feeling of a lesser character. And I stopped caring about stats , long as it looks cool lol .

But it's got 22 in discipline, 10 resilience a d 10 mobility Not the best, but much better than a 70 with 15 strength and 11 in everything else.

1 ReplySame exact thing but with Nezarac's Sin on my Warlock. Nobody wants a 48 stat roll from collections. Not a single 2.0 drop from any activity, from any exotic engram, a single fated engram, or a single unfocused umbral engram. 7 Wings of Sacred Dawn and 6 Sunbracers but cannot get the one i haven't gotten yet.

5 RepliesI got like 2 or 3 just this past couple of hours. Try master (or GM) for higher chances (or guaranteed 2 exotics) this week.

2 RepliesEdited by Kiro - 13: 10/11/2020 11:37:03 PMNot gonna lie celestial and stompees seems to have some hidden lower drop rate. you get Luckyrsapberrys, Ruiju's, and Ahamkara shoulders filling up the post master. Look on the bright side, before we could not change the elemental type. Just need to get that same love applied to weapon masterworks now esp since loot now rotates. O wait we could do that in year one of destiny 2... How did this game go backwards.......
