I watched like 2 episodes of the anime. I thought it was decent. I played Shield for about 3 weeks, completed my Pokédex and got a lot a very good stat Pokémon. The games get boring after awhile, but if you like Pokémon games, then these are almost for you. Not having the full Pokédex from the other games sucks.

I don’t like to think of it

1 ReplyEdited by NeonPropose: 10/3/2020 3:34:02 PMSun and Moon is maybe my favourite series of the anime that I’ve watched in a while. I remember really getting into Pokemon while Advanced Battle was airing here in the UK, and me and my brother loved watching Diamond and Pearl (screw that Tobias guy, plz nerf). I remember watching the first series of Black and White and watched pieces of X&Y but neither really took my fancy. Certain aspects were cool, but neither really hit me like the previous two regions. But me and my brother watched Sun and Moon together and damn was it good. I think the series as a whole was great from the fact that Ash wasn’t being washed down to this novice trainer again, to the companions actually being interesting and diverse and not rehashed characters with different designs to Alola being a beautiful region. I’m also a big fan of the artwork. Story arcs overall were amazing, I loved the initial Nialego/Lusamine arc, the Necrosma arc was great but the championship tournament really got me good. I found were the show shined through was when it took characters and just isolated them to explore them and develop them. Ones that come to mind are how Lana obtains her Z-ring, Mallow’s trial, any episode exploring Litten and Stoutland’s relationship, and the episode where the characters get caught in Tapu Fini’s mist (this one actually made me cry). The callbacks to previous regions was there, I would’ve liked it if we’d have seen more characters come back, maybe Dawn, or perhaps May and Max, but I digress. The ending was amazing, heart strings were tugged on and I just can’t wait for Journeys to air on UK netflix.

Alola was enjoyable.

Fantastic music, raids are fun, lackluster story, lack of full Pokedex is still a bummer.

I heard that it's good, but I haven't found the time to watch it yet

Honestly I keep forgetting that Sword and Shield even exists until I see something about it which is very rare. Most of my friends and I are only into trying to collect every pokemon within the current game rather than trying to be competitive so the games were a miss for us. As for Journeys. I'll watch at some point especially since they seem to be revisiting old places and characters.

7 RepliesEdited by The First Aifos: 10/2/2020 10:34:18 PMI was about to say I enjoyed the game, but I haven’t watched the anime. My favorite season was still probably Advanced Challenge, though, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. Edit: Twilight Wings was awesome, though.

4 RepliesI was about to write a small essay explaining how gen 8 has been the worst pokemon games so far then you specified the anime. Lame. Haven’t watched it, most likely won’t watch it

I stopped watching the anime since Diamond and Pearl.

I like the little ive seen of sword and shield But xyz That was an anime! Sun and moon was ok They aimed it too much to children and it became a comedy and less of an adventure I really hope they dont do that with sword and shield

2 RepliesI liked Galar, I liked Alola even more so. Looking forward to Crown Tundra.

4 RepliesI wasn’t that interested in getting SH, probably because I got burnt out on Ultra Sun. For me, Pokémon hasn’t hit home for me in a while. It’s not that I hate it, it’s just that they haven’t grabbed my attention in a while.

1 ReplyHavent even finished it and I've yet to pick up the DLC. Kinda lost interest
