Special Weapons are Just Too Strong
Even in 3v3 and Rumble, there is just no reason to use a primary at all. Sniper flinch is too predictable, grenade launchers are just longer range shotguns with travel time, fusion rifles are hitscan, and shotguns are shotguns. I miss double-primary-teamshot-stick-together more than hardscope with a sniper or Hold W with a shotgun.

5 RepliesIt's not that the weapons are too strong. We need that "strength" in PvE. It's the ammo economy that needs to be adjusted. D1 worked just fine with ammo crates, D2 could too.

Disable the effect of scavenger in pvp and secondary weapons will operate in a much more balanced way. Taking it a step further you could add a juggler effect to Pvp where secondary bricks can only drop from primary kills instead of any kill in general.

I really liked D2 year 1 pvp where the snipers and shotguns sat in the heavy slot, it was way better than year 2 or year 3. there was no shotgunner or sniper problems just 2ً primaries. the only problem was more team shooting now but that’s atleast was better.
