Low key i don't wanna cross play with ps4 players when i get ps5.
I mean i rather cross playing with xbox series x people when im on ps5. I am not gonna sit in that strike and wait for the poor guy from ps4 to load up for 10 minutes. Like wtf? We getting those new systems with ssd and we gonna wait till the guy with 10 year old hdd to load up in the game? Nah dude nahhhhhh.......

They just need to remove those walls they have in strikes. If I load in 10 mins before 2nd person then I deserve to skip 10 mins of strike. It’s only fair if I don’t get to kill that I get to skip.

Idc bout that issue. Cross play with pc worries me. Game breaking hacks on pc. Imagine ya ps5 blows up from playing a hacker. $600 down the drain.

The destiny player population will be miniscule in both new consoles to begin with. I'd bet you that we'd wait much more trying to find a match without cross-play on the new consoles.

Well you know, unless Bungie mandates some kind of timed lock out (say like 1 year before D2 PS4 stops integrating with D2 PS5), you will probably never see an all PS5 playerbase in this games life cycle. It was one of the first concerns I had when I heard Bungie were shooting for cross play, so I'm sure they're already anticipating the issues.

Reading alot of comments shows that most people don't want crossplay, i am on the fence with it.

Edited by LiamCDM: 8/1/2020 6:18:20 AMI agree with an option to disable it. Mind you, if you're a solid PvPer, you may find yourself at an advantage against PS4 players due to a doubled frame rate. Crossplay has its perks and its consequences.

Interesting concern, maybe if everyone wasn't gatekept to wait for everyone to load before anyone flew in. Oh wait we had this before, but to help cure a black screen in PvP we shafted PvE/the tower for quite some time. Not sure if anything's changed
