I have been grinding for maybe 5 hours on Mars for resonate stems to make the sleeper override keys and I have only gotten 1 new node. I keep getting a handful of the same nodes to keep opening. This is the last thing I need to do on Mars for the Triumphs and it is taking forever. Is there any way to make a lockout system? It would make this grind at least bearable to have an end in sight. Thanks to whoever is listening

4 RepliesEhy Bill. Indeed Sleeped Nodes are a pain in their current state, but I don't know if Bungie is going to do something about them in the future. However, you can use this video to help yourself with the missing nodes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YIVInIJbGM&t The author of the video discovered that the place where you combine the Steams for the Override Frequency influences where the Node will appear. You can see the tab at 2:36 and a full recap at 5:49. You can use websites like light.gg or d2cheklist.com to see which nodes you're missing and and adjust accordingly. Hope this may help.

15 RepliesEdited by Alphard: 7/29/2020 5:17:49 AMCombine all your stems at Olympus Descent. I got 40/40 during Warmind year 1 relatively early on. Once I realized that you couldn't make a node for the spot you were standing in, and that the 3 Olympus nodes repeated the most, I just started combining all my nodes there. Found the last one not long after that, within that same week. Keeping track of which ones you found via D2 Checklist is also a good idea. Now getting that Pollstar 2 Ghost Shell...that's a whole nother ordeal! Combined half my stems so far and nothing. (Started with over 800). (To anyone hunting for that Ghost: It DOES exist! Witnessed my friend get it last night).

I did probably close to 100 hours back when warmind dropped so i could get all of them. One thing i could recommend to make it (slightly) faster: when you recognize a code as one you have already done, dismantle it and combine stems again. Its not a guaranteed fix but it helps a little bit.

The fact Bungie didn't address this after what will be 30 entire months is exactly why Activision dumped them. Exactly - "failure to address community concerns and maintain the game in a timely fashion"

Dude I've been stuck on 39 for 2 years. 2 years.

There’s a chart that lets you figure out which node you’ll get depending on where you create the key. I don’t have a link but I think it’s on reddit or maybe a google search will find it.

Google is your friend. I had wasted hours trying to get the last 2, then after googling I got them in about 15 minutes.

I've needed 1 for a while and yesterday I did 300 stems and never got it while following the so called method of where to combine stems. IT'S RNG

Google.. D2 Check list, it will help you keep track of the modes you have done. Yes it's an extremely bad grind that some of us just finished this season.. but started it during Warmind.. lol Good luck!

Google the algorithm for where best to decrypt each node. I managed to get my final three that way.
