Capitalism allows freedom of business. If there are any issues it’s the company your working under. Under your other examples your assets aren’t yours period. At least your work resolve can show monetary success. Many people simply bite off more than they can afford. Buying unnecessary items, again under your examples your only going to barely get by. Unless somehow your in the club.

Capitalism also doesn't provide a backbone for the less fortunate and gives businesses a bigger presence than they need in a government world (case in point our current president is not a politician, but a business man). In a capitalist society the dollar speaks more than the individual.
