🤫 The dirty little secret that everyone and their idiot brother knows is true that when it comes to cheating on PC its the Wild Wild West! Rules and the sence of Fairplay is out the window!
So the motivation for bungie to afflict such EVIL 😈 upon us is pure GREED!
Some Idiot came up with this brilliant idea thinking is will gain more D2 players!
NOPE! It will BACKFIRE!
🧊 🛳 Back in the day they Also thought that sailing the RMS Titanic into an iceberg was a good idea to save the ship! We all know how that turned out! 🥀💀

1 ReplyYou know what I think? The lack of Dismantling mines you’ve been doing is pretty disappointing. Kinds Regards SYLOK THE DEFILED Thirsts For Your Light https://youtu.be/Y_xCIewheW0

1 ReplyI hope console players have to deal with cheaters so that the whole community can agree on bungie needing to do more about cheaters, instead of just “PC MASTER CHEATS HEHEHE NO CHEATERS ON CONSOLE” which doesn’t solve anything
-
📣 So far no response from bungie to this post! 🤔 I wondered why? 🤫
-
1 ReplyIt’s not happening until year 5 and we don’t have any specifics on how it’ll be implemented.
-
2 RepliesEven without cheating... The faster frame rate and M&K vs the slower frame rate and controllers of consoles? It would ruin PvP for Xbox and PlayStation players. A world of nope.
-
2 RepliesOk, first off, chill with the emojis. Second, I sincerely doubt that it will be activated for PvP

4 RepliesGet over it, more and more games are adopting cross play and that's a good thing. There are many ways to prevent this: Disable cross play in crucible, make it optional, better anti cheat methods, etc.. Cheating needs to be approached from a gaming community perspective as a whole. Developers should come together and come up with something like an account that is tied to every game you play. Caught cheating in Overwatch, you're now suspended/banned in Destiny and any other game that is tied to that account. The bigger issue is that Bungie is awful when it comes to networking. I have more networking disconnects in Destiny than any other game combined. I'd have to imagine adding cross play is just going to make everything infinitely more complex thus leading to even more issues. But who knows, maybe they're hiring new coders to take on this task.

1 Replydid i miss something? I thought crossplat wasn't even going to be considered until like 2021/2022?
-
The reason I stayed on console is because I knew pc would be full of cheaters. Console it’s very rare.
-
1 ReplyI think it's a horrible idea due to the rampant whiners on console.

1 ReplyConsole players will just disable it & rightfully so.
-
1 ReplyCross play is another stupid idea, like removing sbmm and sunseting.
-
Even without the cheating problem on PCs it still is a bad idea. I have played games before with console/PC cross play and it is a nightmare. There is no way a average console player even match a way below average PC player on equal terms.
-
1 ReplyPvE crossplay would be dope, PvP crossplay just sounds actually atrocious especially considering the cardboard box with a Eyasluna taped to the side that is the game's anti-cheat.
-
Sir, I’m pretty sure nobody aimed for the Iceberg on the titanic
-
4 RepliesDon't see what the issue is when other games do it just fine. If you want to play with cross-platform, they make it toggable. Call of Duty and Fortnite are the staple example of this; because it's opt IN instead of opt OUT.
-
🤔 Anyone notice that for all the attention this post is getting that bungie has NOT responded yet? Interesting!
-
No, I think it would be great to be able to play with my pc buddies
-
7 Replieswhy is everybody against crossplay. if a console player wants to play with a PC buddy, they all drop into PC lobbies. no m&k on Xbox servers or anything, just the option to join PC servers as a console
-
1 ReplyI think crossplay would be useful. I have a PC I built for college that does all my CAD, programming, and gaming. I don’t have room for an Xbox in the dorm. I would like to play with my friends who have different systems, so in that regard, it would be nice to have crossplay. Additionally, a console is far cheaper than the typical Destiny 2 capable PC. Generally. Being able to play with my friends who have different game interests and budgets is definitely a great capability. If a developer includes it, they help both themselves and their customers. Seems like a win-win. I get the use of macro keys may not be considered fair or the keyboard and mouse layout may not be ergonomic in all settings, but given that this game was made to be played with friends, it would make sense to enable as much social play as possible. Undoubtedly, it comes down to market interest and technical feasibility, but I believe this feature would be useful.

1 ReplyIt’s ok for pve, not ok for anything that involves pvp or pve race type scenarios
-
It's a good thing tbh. Having fun with your mates that moved to console. I agree with crossplay BUT I'm hoping they have the option to turn it off
-
Crossplay is great. When did they announce PC vs PS4 vs Xbox crossplay? It'd be amazing. I'd like to be able to play with an old friend who only has a PS4. I dislike console gaming cause of low FPS and controller. Im a KB+M only guy and I run D2 at 144 hz 1440p. Its much better like this to me.
Controller players turn around slower. Running up behind them with felwinters lie might be entertaining for a bit.
1 ReplySo pretty much 80% of the votes are against and not a peep from Bungie? Classic.
-
Wait ps4 and PC are going to be cross play???
