This is actually the worst thing they have done to pvp, they should of beefed up their anit-cheat system cause wanna know what's fun. Seeing the same people you have reported for the last 3 seasons, still cheating in the game

All of this would be easily solved if we had the option to choose whether we wanted to play games with SBMM or not. It will satisfy the casuals and the sweats at the same time. Why am I the only one coming up with these ideas. Cmon Bungie.

Let me start off by saying, that despite almost 13-Years on this site, due to toxicity, I rarely post, but I feel like I can chime in on this post, despite the downvotes. As someone who is strictly a solo player; I can say I'm decent at the game. I've slogged through many flawless' in D1 / Trials of the Nine; I attempted Trials of Osiris when it came back, the 2nd/3rd week at 986 light [b]WITH[/b] the Artifact (I'd stopped playing for about a month prior) using LFG, pairing against 1,020~ Players and getting my face stomped in, and haven't touched it since; the cheating is rampant since the game migrated to Steam and became F2P (hence, the horrible games / KD on my Trials stats -- I can say from experience that Bungie saying that your games are based off of the wins on your ticket is a complete lie), and who has [b]decent[/b] stats (2.32 Overall KD; 3.11 KAD).. I can honestly say, I'm enjoying the changes. Yeah, I run into the occasional pubstomp group every 5-10 games, which is never fun, but I've actually felt much more relaxed and able to enjoy PvP since they removed SBMM; Beforehand, I felt like every single game was a nightmare sweatfest against nothing but meta clutchers, and a strong abundance of Revoker / Beloved campers; It felt almost loathing to load into a PvP game most of the time. Do know, I'm strictly anti-meta and strongly main scout rifles, and tend to switch up my loadout every game to keep things fresh; it's usually a mix of Jade Rabbit / Purpose / Transfiguration / Relentless for my primary, with my secondary being Darkest Before / Vouchesafe / Motion to Compel / Graviton Lance. Yes, I never touch shotguns or snipers, I feel they're way too cheap the way they function in Destiny in PvP; that being my pure opinion, of course. However, in short, I feel the removal of SBMM has made the PvP experience significantly more relaxed and less of a chore in a sense where I only have to buckle down and "sweat" / play my hardest every now and then, rather than nearly every game. Yes, people in lower brackets will also run into the occasional stomp group, and it isn't pleasant, but with time comes improvement, and things will hopefully get better as time progresses, and in a positive light, the removal of SBMM seems to have significantly reduced the wait time between matches. Remember; my post is based off of perspective / opinion, so take it as you will; everyone is entitled to their opinions, and I respect those with differing perspectives. Glad it's gone now.. Sweating every game wasn't fun. And they left it for survival and the other one and trials. So those people can sweat all day if they choose

Well, as a solo queue’r my matchmaking has been beyond terrible. Of the 5 matches I played (and lost) last night, only 1 of them was even close to competitive. I hope this doesn’t make the matchmaking even worse. If so...peace out. ✌️
