if I remember correctly, it will display the seasonal max, but for raid weapons that will increase each season.
probably because they don't know what the light level increases are going to be yet.

Why didn't the scourge of the past get the increase for weapons and armor? Wasn't it released between those 2?

Im not sure about weapons but I guess the armor has been updated to the same cap.

I still don't understand then because my seventh seraph gear displays a max power level of 1310. That tells me they know the max values.

oh really? then I don't know, it may be a bug. that or you have to re-earn it. it may be a bug though because maybe they haven't set the raid weapons to be exceptions to the sun setting. that or they want to keep the raids a love and make you regrind them.

I get that, I can see your point. However, if that is what the deal is then it needs to be explicitly stated because the TWAB doesn't read that way.
