I'm trying to play Dark Souls 3 again
I was enjoying it until I got to the giant tree boss and now I hate life

I recently went back and did a playthrough for fun and struggled more on aldrich than any other boss, optional and DLC included. That arrow rain attack in the second phase is seriously brutal.

Hmmm, it is one of those trick bosses, the moment you know the trick he is pretty doable even on higher NG+'s. I could give you some tips but it is been a while so maybe YT it. Honestly, the regular bosses in this game are much easier than those from the previous games, only the optional and DLC bosses are actualy hard, if you just keep trying you will succeed.

It's been a bit, but I remember a weird hand smacking at me and I smacked it back a lot until it died. I also remember going to one end of the room and it standing up to walk over to me and fall down, then I'd smack it some more.
