A silhouette of light forms in the shape of a battle axe in the shadows of the stage left. A figure clad in bronze-colored battle armor steps forward.
”Hello there!”

The bard waves happily at the newcomer. The thugs are not as happy. “Can’t a man mug someone without you superhero freaks showing up. What is it you want?”
-
I hold out a finger. “First off, I am not a super hero. No cape, no superpowers, no underwear on the outside.” I hold out another finger. “Second, the last time I checked stealing was against the law, so I’ll need you to step away from that man or else we are going to have a problem.”
-
“Listen, This bard is supposed to be carrying ancient and valuable treasure. Worth a lot of money of course. Sure stealing is illegal but you could happen to not see the crime. Just walk I to that tavern over there and some of this valuable money shall go to you.”
-
I start filling the room with a loud, booming laugh. “Money? Treasure? I have no need of such petty baubles! All that I have I either make with my own hands or find myself! As for looking the other way...” I scrape my axe across the floor and set it aflame, striking it like a match. “...I never look the other way.”
-
The bandit leaders knife suddenly shifts into a flaming longsword. The other thugs stuck back unsure if they should run it help there leader.
-
I hold out my hand and dare him to approach.
-
The leader charges at you raising his sword up to slash down at you.
-
I duck and sweep the back of his leg with the butt end of my axe. “Poor stance. Sloppy.”
-
He falls on his knees and says, “I am a thief not a student. I don’t want some lesson out of you!” Then the mugger, filled with anger, swings his sword in your direction.
-
I hook the sword with the blade end of my axe and yank it to the side. “That is too bad. You have a lot to learn.”
-
“I don’t want a teacher! You hero’s are so annoying. This city is stupid we can never rob anything!” The thief yells and he runs to tackle you.
-
I catch his arm and slowly bend it behind his back. “At this point you must realize that I’m not trying to kill you. That alone must teach you something.”
-
“Fine fine! Just let me go and I shall leave you all alone” the thug yells.
-
I shove the man away. “Keep running. Don’t even think about coming back or it will be painful.”
