DMing people on Xbox Live from app or website
Hi,
I have a great clan and all and really need to find a way to DM my clan members. I can do it in-game but that means I can't cut & paste and would have to type out 100 weekly updates on the controller... not happening.

I don't see anywhere on clan member profiles what their Xbox Live names are. I can DM people on Bungie.net and the app but if they don't check either then that's pointless.

Is there a way for me to DM clan members from either the Destiny app or Bungie.net on their Xbox Live accounts?

7 RepliesIf you are you asking for a way to XBox Live message people from bungie.net or from the Destiny Companion App then it is currently not a service offered by Bungie. You can certainly use either to look up XBox ID's, but communicating with them via XBox Live messaging would require either a solution provided by Microsoft or some third party. The only mass communication offered by Bungie for clans is the Clan Chat feature in the app and on the website. But those messages only appear on the app/website; they are not capable of being sent or relayed to XBox Live messaging. Same goes for DM'ing clan members on the website or app, those messages simply show up only in the app/website. Outside of manually entering XBox Live ID's into XBox messaging your other options would require users to sign up/use some outside service like Discord.
