Hey bungie,
I am looking forward to the changes you are making in the new year and there are a few issues this year that made me quit Destiny 2. I think increasing the power level cap every season is too much of a grind for players that just play regularly. First season was great for me, I liked getting to know all the new things you implemented and while doing this and completing the new expansion I worked my way to the cap and started to upgrade my gear. The second season I had 'less content' and had a busy schedule at that time so I didn't had the will or time to play much, so I didn't make it to get to the power cap that season. Then the third season came and the power cap got even larger. Because of this large gap I had to overcome while farming weapons, while still having to complete the pinnacle quests by doing boring bounties over and over just to get there made the game not enjoyable for me anymore. Before this year, you addressed to make Destiny 2 more like a MMO. Most MMO's only change the power cap once every expansion instead of every DLC and make you grind for gear etc. instead for power levels. So I would suggest to do the same in Destiny 2. Only increase the power cap every year when the newest expansion launches and give us gear to grind for every season. So personally I love the idea if the infusion cap on weapons and armor. I know many players don't agree with this because they are not used to it, but that would be a valid option to balance the game. This is my opinion and I know some people have the same opinion about it.
I hope you will keep my feedback in consideration and to have a great Destiny 2 next year!

And please bring back the legendary marks for infusion!

11 RepliesI agree, the whole "hey now that you finished grinding for three months so you can actually play the game the way you want AND ITS GONE! Time to start all over guardian" yeah it's not fun but bungie does this to try and hide the fact that their game isn't actually "fun" anymore .its literally just a grind simulator . the only two activities that are fun to me are crucible and occasionally the raid if I'm with a fun group of people. Honestly I just want to play capture the flag with vehicles like halo had.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 5/1/2020 7:16:18 PMI don't do the raids and I've almost got three guys up to 1010 armor, just need one or two peices each. It's all about using your time efficiently. Bungie already said they are leaning towards the hobbiest crowd over the casual player. They don't want to go back to vanilla D2.

1 ReplyAs a hardcore player I can’t see the arguement. If I can complete every activity that awards a powerful or pinnacle gear within a work day, by my math that means you’d only have to put in about 3 hours a day to complete everything, all raids, dungeons, etc on all 3 character. On top of that max level is obtainable within a month if you do this every week, so I feel like a 12 week period is plenty of time allotted to let people level up. If they didn’t increase the max level every it would take away something for players to chase every season, which is never really a good idea
