Guardian games balance is awful
How is the balance Bungie have implemented for the guardian games fair? Given the population of hunters, there is no way they should be coming in last on day 2, the balance is clearly bias against hunters. While I’m all for game balance, just because there’s more hunters, doesn’t mean they should be given a handicap in this event.
Imagine if competitive crucible players had to deal more damage to get a kill, just because they are competitive players..... it would cause uproar.
Bungie need to fix this balance so it’s a fair competition, as it currently stands, Hunters haven’t got a hope to win. Their medals are just worth so little in comparison to the other classes.

I’m a Hunter main, and I just don’t see the problem. Titans win? Ok, so they win, gg. Warlock’s win? Good for them. Just not sure about all the complaining over imbalance.

Um day 1 hunter then Titan. Day 2 Titan then warlock. Day three warlock then hunter. I am just going to tower to make sure all medals are selected. I play after tea then before bed. I rotate the characters.

Otherwise, go to hell the game is flooded with hunters so of course they would win. 90% of the jackasses in p p after hunters. So how would that be fair?

This appears to be a problem with the glitch where you can delete characters and not Bungie’s weighting. In Crucible, there’s no weighting because everyone is on a theoretically even playing field. Crucible is actually testing skills whereas Guardian Games tests what exactly? Essentially: Guardian Games has to be weighted to account for the fact no class can actually “try harder.” They are limited by the amount of characters of that class that exist x 7 medals x days in the event. It would be blatantly unfair if it weren’t weighted. Whether they did it appropriately or not is left to speculation but I’d hope Bungie employees could do grade school math. But because now there is no “cap” to the amount of medals, we see Titans take a commanding lead. Why? Because Titans are the least played class and so have the highest multiplier, which means they are rewarded most for this exploit. This is in conjunction with the fact that Hunter and Warlock mains won’t delete their mains to perform this glitch, they’ll delete one of their other characters, which logically would mean the class that is using this glitch the most is Titan.

15 RepliesYeah I thought it was dumb too. If there’s more Hunters then the other classes just need to try harder. It’s a damn competition. It’s like putting weights on the fastest runner in a race.

My theory is that most people who main a hunter do so mainly because the majority of them are pvp players and have no time for most of the game outside pvp and are not going to join in on a grind or event. Also there’s a large number of people deleting toons to make titans, go to tower, turn in the free gold medal and delete and repeat just to make sure hunters don’t win. Considering everyone will be using their own ornaments on class items it’s pretty much irrelevant who wins. Remember the solstice gear? When was last time you saw someone using it? no one is because it’s not an ornament 🤦♂️

3 RepliesJust wait till the cheeses get their exotic. At the moment, people are creating guardians to get a free medal then deleting and repeating. Obviously it's the Titan that they're willing to delete.

3 Repliesi sat at tower yesterday for a full 30 minutes watching, everyone turning in medals was titan except 2 warlocks. not a single hunter. for what it's worth....

2 RepliesIt's because a majority of Hunter's are tired of the bounty grind and just don't care enough to do it. The ones that wanted the machine gun already got it day one. As you can tell only the crayon eaters continue doing bounties for no reason.

I as a hunter made a few medals on day 1 and am already over this event. MG is not worth the bounty torture for me. Given there is a way to do infinite gold medals i assume a lot of people are creating titan twinks and spam medals.

5 RepliesIts rigged for all classes man. Day 1 hunters literally almost maxed it out to the top how the hell do titans suddenly almost max it out in under 12 hours and leave hunters under half. Watch, somewhere in the next few days warlocks will be almost maxed flag pole and the cycle will repeat.
