Destiny is coming to an end.
I've been playing Destiny ( 1&2 ) since 2014 and I enjoyed Destiny 1 and I still do however I don't play games like Hardcore players, but I can say if you compare Destiny 2 at this moment to Destiny 1 you will find Destiny 2 much more boring than Destiny 1 although It has so many more things to do than D1 had because D2's foundations built on FARMING & GRINDING more than any other action to proceed in the game in the way that you enjoy from bottom of your heart, It's like before you go to sleep at night you are thinking about " which gun, mod, etc I'm gonna be farming and relentlessly pursuing regardless of how much of my time will be consumed on farming when I wake up the next day ".
///////////////////////////////////////
Another thing is that many of seasonal DLCs are not even worth being paid for, because all you have to do is just completing Bounties of some kind and at most, the highest value activity that an annual season ( except the fall DLCs ) can offer is a community puzzle which is not bad by itself even though the main activity of each season can be a part of a bigger obstacle that guardian will encounter in the game.
///////////////////////////////////////
There is another problem which is about weapons and armors; after each season our concerns involves temptation, avidity, for the upcoming narrow gear variety which going to be almost obsolete in the next DLCs whereas in D1 you had enough liberty to use anything you want without having impulse of acquiring all Items and you enjoyed using them.
///////////////////////////////////////
following we have another problem which is warmed-over content that drops each season after another, without exaggerating every DLC after each fall expansion delivers the same thing other than the story plots, for example back in D1 strikes gave me so much happiness didn't matter how many times I played them and about the nightfalls, they were much more playable for they used to drop exclusive rewards which belonged specifically to that strike notwithstanding in D2 strikes are aggressively pointless rather than being enjoyable and nightfalls don't have enough attractive vibes.
//////////////////////////////////////
moving on we encounter too many nerfs that are applied to weapons each time while you can add some other powerful weapons and Items or perks to balance the game on some occasions.
///////////////////////////////////////
and Imagine if Destiny 2 still runs at ( 30=fps & 85=FoV ) in the next generation of consoles.
besides, right now everyone is encountering different types of fatal errors more than ever.

and that was some of my concerns about the current situation of Destiny, I hope I could illustrate the issues that are bothering players especially for some who like me live in some countries that purchasing software productivities costs so much but since Destiny used to be one of my favorite games I needed to mention some issues. anyway, I don't know for how long this tone will last.
Peace

6 RepliesI hope like hell D2 is coming to an end with this cabal ship (where the f is that already?). I wish badly bungie would make the cabal ship hit and when it does the traveller isn't ready for it and it annihilates everything that currently is. The next chapter starts in 5 years, after bungie builds a proper game with a proper code. I'd like it to end now, so I can say, yea, I stuck with it from start to finish. Nothing changes next week for the better. It's getting deleted and I'll be hoping Chris Barrett and some of his team get full charge of D3 or it needs to be sold off to another company and I hope they pick up Chris. I never want to support another bungie project. Destiny was the first game I bought of theirs and it will be the last.

Well, they can make all the new titles they want...but If they don’t get back to making Destiny about what it was originally pitched as...and dump the elitist junk, I won’t touch another Bungie title after Destiny. I will always love and respect the dream of Destiny and Bungie either way, but it is what it is.

Bro it’s April. There has never NOT been a content drought. Every goddamn April everyone goes, “ITS THE END!” Then Bungie announces/releases something and everyone’s all like, “BRO MORE CONTENT WHY I WASNT EVEN DONE WITH THE OTHER ONE11!!”
-
4 RepliesHaha haha haha. Haha ha ha After 6 years of this game. I wouldn’t hold my breath or stick with the franchise. It’s NEVER going to get better. I have 1 more season left. after that I’m all set.

The problem I have with most of these posts is that the game just "got worse". Sure, it did in a lot of ways. But all of that stuff that made it bad? It was there from the start, in varying degrees. People choose to ignore it, but a lot of it was there. Consumers never stood up to them. Everyone that's still paying them for "content" drop, deserves it. Clown consumers.

19 RepliesAs much as I wish that were true. People won't be able to part ways as easy as I and many others have. It will take Bungie being even more blantantly terrible they already are. I have plenty of better games to keep me occupied while I wait for Anthem 2.0. I'll keep swinging by here and pointing out the problems with this god awful sequel and life will go on. It's unfortunate but it will take a ton for people to see how terrible this game truly is. People still try to defend SW: TLJ and if peoe can defend that god awful movie then people can keep defending this game.

1 ReplyGame should’ve never gone free to play
-
As long as the game has the F2P element there will always be new players. Is the game any good? They’ll find out soon enough.
-
The issues with this game can boiled down to one word Potential So much there, so much missed. The lore books honestly just show what the game could've been, but isn't.

Play Warframe.

Yup I uninstalled a few days ago and have been playing stellaris of all games ..... Unlike this shit show it’s actually fun

I reinstalled to join my nephew in new light. We played for a few hours and he was bored. He couldn’t see the point. All the old content was done and there wasn’t enough new stuff to keep him interested.

4 RepliesEdited by AngryBovine1419: 4/13/2020 9:58:34 PMThey have given up on Destiny... their quality people are devoted to Matter right now. Bungie has no talent or motivation left when it comes to Destiny, this seasonal yard sale proves it

it's boring thats for sure after playing doom and rd2 just doing 100k nightfall was painful idk this might be last time i play for very very long time

>Nightfalls don't have enough attractive vibes< This.. this says it all 🤣

1 ReplyPeople have been saying destiny’s dead or dying for 3 years now yes it’s in a bad place right now so are billions of people around the world
-
I still believe that only the hardcore players are “leaving” while the casuals are staying as they don’t really keep up with the game and know what’s happening in the back, they simply just play
-
2 RepliesFew weeks ago I’d have 10-20 friends on.... when I load into steam I can see I have 2 or 3 playing ....
-
I have over 7,000 hours into this franchise, and I finally just said -blam!- it. I can't do the boring, pointless grind anymore. I can grind for an hour in Borderlands 3 and get a ton of legendaries, have more fun, and be overpowered as -blam!-. Gearbox has done a few nerfs here and there, but they've done a ton of buffs to weapons and skill trees too. Plus, they have constant weekly events, and weekly hotfixes. For the amount of staff Bungie has, it's pathetic that they can't do the same.

Gezzus.... Who the hell taught you how to write? Good god that was a tough read... Why in the hell are you using /////// 🤡

Thank god

So? I've played many games that came to an end.
