Definitely not a fan. She's way too serious and it just makes the lines boring. Ana's old VA was a little eccentric in her performance but at least it had character.

Edited by Mickeman7: 4/12/2020 5:51:18 PMI read the interview with the new voice actresd and I just couldn't believe she made a character study instead of taking into consideration that the character already exists and she needs to step into the shoes of the previous voice actor. Somehow the new Ana sounds more like Sloane than Ana. Sucks 😟 It unbelievable that content I paid for and I liked is made worse. I will never pay for a live service game again. It's almost like Nintendo would change Mario's accent to Swedish instead of Italian.

3 RepliesGideon Emery's voice (Devrim Kay) messed up the remake of my all time favorite game Final Fantasy VII ... Biggs is now the most annoying character in that game with his terrible accent ... Saint XIV was one of my favorite characters in the Destiny franchise, but his bad (drunken?) accent is even worse then Devrim Kay's.

Now ? Ana was irritating from the start. Poorly written lines delivered by someone that sounded like one of the devs pre-teen kids. I’m not slating the voice actress as others have sounded equally bad. It’s the overall delivery in D2 that just sounds off. It’s as if the voice actors are being directed to voice their characters a specific way. -
