Gee, thanks for all the tokens I couldn't use
Thanks to the terrible matchmaking...I wasted a bunch of my time on trials with nothing to show for it. Constantly going against flawless teams on my first match of a card and then matched with all the no lifers that probably jerked off doing lost sectors all day everyday to get to 1k light. Then it was just hard light spam.
Great game mode. Top notch bungie...top notch. Not one second of my trials experience was fun or interesting.
It couldn't have been interesting for the sweaty nerds that just roflstomped through most of it either. Just a garbage experience all the way around, and I have nothing to show for my time. Not a single weapon or piece of loot. Just wasted time.

Tokens shouldn't be auto dismantled every reset That's such a stupid mechanic. Why can't we just stock up on them for a time when an item we want is available?

This also lets them play people on thier first game who dont belong being matched with them at all. Way to keep 99% of peoole from playing this game you sweaty loser -blam!-s.

1 ReplyMatchmaking works great. I helped 2 people go flawless (they had to use the mercy card unfortunately while I was on the token card) and I was able to farm out tokens. Every flawless win gave the "fell at the gates of the Lighthouse" message. Yeah, at the beginning of you card you still might match some sweatlords. They might be at the beginning of their card too. [i]Someone[/i] has to match them. Luck of the draw there. That's why you can just reset your card or use a mercy and not match them again. No big deal. Just take a breath, practice a little with a team, and come back next week.

10 RepliesFunny how you used the lost sector excuse, except for the fact that I bounty farmed in lost sectors and public events for a whole week and only managed 978.... meanwhile my buddy played survival for a day or 2 and hit 1008. Yeah, the loot you get from ranking up glory drops hella high powerful loot. Get in there and get it done.

1 ReplyI skipped and will be skipping it. It's not worth the frustration. As for comp I'll only be playing that on trials days. As it's less sweaty. This season is a massive let down. Season of the paid carries Season of the streamer. Pver's can just basically -blam!- off is what I'm getting this season.

2 RepliesJust because people played more and are better than you doesn't mean you should be entitled to all the loot. That's also supposed to be the appeal of Trials. It's not skill based. It's based off of how many wins on a card. So it's literally a gamble. It's the most pinnacle pvp activity, and has been. But if you are just not as good, or don't play as much, why would you get the loot? This is exactly the reason why Adept weapons aren't a thing in Trials right now. The majority of Guardians were mad that they couldn't get the best loot, so they ripped out the reason to even play it, now it's just, play because it's fun, and not for good loot. But still the same people complain about Trials being BS, even without the weapons actually being good.

6 RepliesTrials is too easy. Went flawless 5 times on my account. On all my characters I was 960-965 Lights. So maybe all the people who complained should go play pve where they belong.

I got 6 wins in a row when the reset hit. I lost almost 300 tokens and my almost flawless card...

You’ll just drag your team down and you’ll end up getting hated for it. I don’t need that on me. You don’t want that either. I know there’s no point for me to try. So why should I bother. It’s better that people like us just stay out and let the real players do what they want in it. I’ll never get to the lighthouse.

1 ReplyAs an avid and pretty good PVP player this weekend was cancer. I myself started trials at 960 and couldn't do anything against the 1010 basement dwellers. But I just grinded up to 980 and then it became bearable. Hard light is a large issue. While I do like that this gun gets its spotlight and should be good after 5+ years , it's way too strong now. I think they need to cut it's mag in half to stop the spam around corners , and maybe actually add a bit more recoil to the gun to make it a bit more skillful to use. Why couldn't you cash in your tokens though ? Can't you just hand them in to saint 14 ? Or is there a specific milestone to hit before you can. Next weekend will be significantly better where the power level will be evened out more and those that abused it will be garbage tier players again.
