Beldam and Mirabelle walk down the road, discussing various small bits of their day of no interest. The two definitely stood out a bit—Beldam in his heavy bulletproof cloak, and Mirabelle in her face-obscuring cloak. However, pinned proudly to both their outfits was a small badge that read “Beldam The Hero’s Hero Agency”.
Mirabelle lets out a laugh at one of the many ridiculous things Beldam says, and then they hear the fighting, and stop in their tracks. Before Mirabelle gets a chance to stop him, Beldam darts off towards the noise at full sprint.
“Wait, Beldam!” Mirabelle yells, running after him.
English
-
The pair sees Tilman fall into a dumpster
-
Beldam runs over, and throws the lid open, speaking before he even sees inside. “Are you okay, do you need help!?”
-
He sees Tilman lying in the trash unconscious, a gaping sword wound in his stomach. Behind him, a loud crunch sounds
-
“Mirabelle!” Beldam yells, as the girl catches up. “You can’t expect to just dart off like that, then ask for my—oh my god!” She yells as she sees the body. “Help me lift him out!” Beldam says. The two carefully lift him out, and set him on a bed of water Mirabelle releases from her hands. A small silver bell appears in Beldam’s palm, and he gives it a quiet ring; giving some small healing to everyone in earshot, as Mirabelle got to washing & covering the wound. “My heal bell can only do so much, I need you to call an ambulance, and wait here until it gets here!” Beldam yells, getting up, and running towards the sound. “Wait, seriously!?” Mirabelle yells. With a frustrated groan, she pulls out her phone, and calls the hospital.
-
wow, that was.... a lot of actions with zero looking backwards to see what the crunch was
Mirabelle's phone can't seem to connect with a signal. Behind the two of them they hear a deep, synthesized voice say "Back away from the traitor, or die with him"
-
You said “behind him, which I assumed meant Tilman, but he was lying in a dumpster so I wasn’t completely sure what you meant, so I just assumed it was a good distance away—which is what I meant to have Beldam heading towards.
Beldam and Mirabelle stopped, and turned to face the voice. For a moment, neither of them moved, then Mirabelle spoke up. “Traitor to what?”
-
They see a large figure in blood red armor standing behind them "He betrayed me. And now I'm going to kill him"
-
“Oh yeah?” Mirabelle asked, crossing her arms. “And who are you?” Her fin flapped subtly under her cloak, and Beldam looked up to the roof of a nearby building, before walking back next to Tilman.
-
"I am a bringer of justice and death. I am come to make sure he betrays no one else"
-
“Wow, how informative.” Mirabelle said. “Yeah, well don’t worry, we were just leaving. Beldam?” “Telebell!” Beldam yelled, as a huge iron bell suddenly appeared on top of the three. The underside of the bell began to glow, and within a few seconds the bell, and all three of the people under it, were gone. They reappeared on top of a roof, underneath a similar iron bell that Beldam had placed there just a moment earlier. Much like the other one, the bell vanished when its purpose was served. “Alright, nearest hospital is-“ Beldam began. “Hold on.” Mirabelle said. “If we take him to a hospital, then Mr. ‘Bringer of Justice’ might just attack the building! Let’s take him to Clover!” “What? Why Clover?” “Because Clover can heal him, and defend himself. Stop whining.” Mirabelle pulled out her phone. “Hey, Kim? It’s Mirabelle, can you meet us on the north edge of town, by the big tree? It’s an emergency! Thanks.” She hung up. “Let’s go! Before that weirdo finds out we’re up here!”
Don’t worry, I’m not gonna introduce characters like crazy and hijack the plot. I just need a healer!
-
I mean, all of your abilities automatically working kind of is hijacking it a bit
A rend in space time opens next to them and the figure walks out "Not so fast" He pulls out a chaingun and begins firing a hail of bullets towards them
-
The only ability I’ve used only affected myself, and you said we were using realism as opposed to stats & dice rolls. Why wouldn’t it work?
-
fair, I kind of forgot about that. Oh well, now that i know how this is working i should be fine. Carry on
-
Sorry, guess I should’ve asked if you still wanted to use dice rolls. I just assumed no stats and no rolls went hand in hand. If you want to start usig them, I’m okay with that. Anyway, I’ll respond in a bit. Gotta get back to work.
-
it's good. I'll just figure out how to make it challenging
-
Don’t worry, I’ll let myself get hit. Of course, since we’re using realism, a bullet to the head is fatal, so I won’t get hit by absolutely everything.
Mirabelle barely had time to react, forming waves of water under her feet, and shootig two high speed jets at Beldam from her hand. The Hero was hit square in the chest, hopefully pushing him out of the way of most of the bullets. Mira herself was carried by the waves under het feet, combined with the force of the water, to push her back much farther, and much faster. A bit too far, in fact; she surfed up right to the edge of the building, and nearly tumbled over the edge. Beldam was delayed by the water blast, but tried to drop a reiforced bell over the unconscious body to protect it from the bullets.
-
Tilman was protected. The figure rushes over to Beldam and slams a fist into his chest, sending him ten feet backwards to the edge of the building. The figure then flipped the bell off of Tilman and grabbed his throat
-
Ten feet? I’m no physicist, but I feel like a punch like that would have enough impact to kill a normal person. ._.
-
well, y'know, science, convenience, you get it
-
I just mean if the first fight has a guy that can do that, this is probably a bit out of my league. I think I may have to forfeit. Maybe I should just stick to solo writing. My attempts to join the RP scene haven’t gone too well. : /
-
well, it is my character, so he is kinda powerful
-
If your character is on the upper end of the power spectrum, and he’s not holding back or just testing us, starting off a campaign with him as a boss fight is just bad game design. You should build up to the fight instead. But anyway, that’s kinda my point. The average power level here is just way above what I like to play at.
-
well, the story before this was kinda the buildup. Six parts of this set, and the whole of the last one
-
Fair enough. I guess I didn’t notice the 7.
-
it's alright. This is the second rp in the whole arc, and I'm not sure very many people paid attention to it
