[BUG] Destiny 2 has stopped working after 'Exit to desktop'
Since the latest update I can't close Destiny 2 without it throwing me an error.

Was working properly untill update today.

I am getting a similar thing. It doesn't throw me any error codes.... it just hangs up on the game screen for about 30 seconds to a minute and then just goes away. I noticed it happening last night first and now tonight.

Using the Force shutdown option in Steam (Shift+TAB), it closes instantly. Not the ideal solution, I know...

I have the exact same issue as well, never happened before the last patch (2.8.0) but happens 9 out of 10 times I exit to desktop now.

I have the same problem although I don't get an error event log. It just says "Destiny 2 has stopped working" after I hit exit. This happened right after I updated to 2.8.0.

Me too having the same issue. When I exit to Dekstop - Quiting the game. It freezes and crashed error pops out! I got this issue just after I update the patch. I tried clear Steam Download Cache it still doesn't work. What is happening, Bungie?

1 ReplyWe also have the same situation however, where did they dig up such a file ? {steamnetworkingsockets.dll} game developer. When you exit the game world the character's choice does not play background music! as the loading time. [Question to the developers of the game] ...N7® .

I'm getting the same thing but I'm also suddenly logging out. Destiny says I don't have an internet connection while I have Youtube playing and my laptop is using a wired connection.
