Here is another vid, it's the exact same piece, same affinity but wants an upgrade module to infuse? Why?

It's not just sundial armour that does that. I can't remember the other gears, but theres def more and other gears that do the same thing by needing a upgrade module.
-
7 RepliesDestiny is currently being handled by intern level staff because the main staff is working on the other Chinese project. That's the reason of this season being the buggiest release in Destiny history.
-
2 RepliesDid you get the higher stat roll from the season pass? I think the game treats armor you've gotten from the season pass differently than the ones you get from drops even it is the same armor (at least that's what I assume is going on)
-
Because armour 2.0 is all over the place atm, and the game is full of issues and small QoL problems... not to mention bugs like the EDZ obelisk. Maybe Activision took all the QA testers with them? 😏

Because Bungie are pathetic, the Season Pass armor counts as different items than the Sundial armor. This is likely not a bug since Bungie did something similar with Dawning shaders. You'd get some that would dismantle into just legendary shards and some that would dismantle into Bright Dust. The ones from event engrams would turn into dust, but the ones you got in other ways would turn into shards.

8 RepliesEdited by Smough: 1/4/2020 4:42:29 PMMy question is why do you need to infuse in the first place. Isn’t power on gear basically pointless now because of the artifact?
-
artificial content and grind to keep people playing the game and make people more likely to go to eververse. i'm waiting for the day they reintroduce the resource boxes from d1 eververse.
-
I think if the armor piece comes as a season pass reward, then you cannot infuse it without an upgrade module. If they are both world drops, then it should just cost 1k Glimmer.
-
3 RepliesProbably a bug or poorly tested mistake, this was happening to a specific class for me in undying.
-
3 RepliesBeacuse Bungie wants infusion to arbitrarily suck ?
-
1 ReplyWas the same issue with last seasons seasonal armor. I believe it has something to do with when they were obtained in your season pass level making them "different" armor because Bungie logic ....
-
3 RepliesMaybe yours is bugged. Mine costs 1k glimmer only when i do that.
-
This game sucks that’s why

Season pass versions of the gear seem to be classed as different armour pieces to the sundial drop versions, was the same with the vex offensive last season. Would be nice to have it fixed since it's annoying wasting upgrade modules just to get my best rolls with the best PL. (though i'm at 960 now so don't really care much)
-
I've had that happen a couple of times. But not always. As it is now, the game is really buggy.
-
I’ve noticed this since last season. It’s gotta be a bug. Put in the que with the rest of the issues that require fixing. I see a 2 day game offline for maintenance coming. So many things are broken. Since Bungie has gone independent have they forgotten how to write code? Sure seems like it.
-
If youre talking about the one that you get from the season pass thats been bugged last season too.
