Between the dawning and leveling up the obelisks I am reallllly starting to get frustrated at how Grindy this season feels. Yes I know that's the name of this game, and I don't mind grinding but this is just utterly ridiculous.
150 treats baked..... seriously? I have been playing pretty much 5 hours a day since the start of the season, and I still have over 50 treats to bake. In what world is running around to different vendors 150 times fun gameplay?
And the obelisks, just wow. With how much I've been playing I still haven't been able to max out one single obelisk OUT OF 5.... I just took 1100 fractaline to a level 7 obelisk thinking for sure this would be enough to finish it. Nope, NOT EVEN CLOSE. I'm at obelisk rank 14 and I have no idea how much farther it goes, and this is just one obelisk.
This season feels beyond a chore, beyond a second job.... this season just feels like a flat out punishment. I don't mind sinking hundreds of hours into a season, but this progression is so damn slow it's infuriating. I truly feel insulted that I have to do so damn much for sooo little in return.
And I know some of you will say well you don't have to play, I know that, but I really want to enjoy this game and Bungie is making it impossible. At this point I've already sunk so much time into upgrading this stupid sparrow I'll probably never use, that I can't stop now or all that effort will be for nothing.
TLDR: This season feels unnecessarily grindy, and the rate of progression is really making me start to pull my hair out. And yes I know some of you have probably maxed out everything already, but for a casual player who plays this game a ton, this season has been a freaking nightmare.
Once I get this stupid sparrow upgrade after playing more Martha Stewart simulator for 20 more hours, and upgrade this one obelisk, I'm just done with this game until this problem is addressed.

1 ReplyLol, waitt til the next step 300 baked. Also you do realize the levels for obelisks keep going right, there is no "max". The final unlock is at 11 for each
