You're spot on. All the complaining about shotguns, lord of wolves, handhelds, throwing knives and whichever may come next week that's the daily routine on this forum. While no one talks about how majority of the maps favor close-range engagements where the above stated tools have inherent advantage. Then cram these maps with 12 player lobbies when they weren't designed for that. Vostok and equinox are actually rather balanced maps as far as potential for different ranged engagements go. Vostok more than the other but even equinox has pathing low-range loadouts can utilize. It's just not as apparent on a glance. Both of these maps are largely disliked by the community. Quite possibly simply because they're different from the lopsided norm folks are used to.

  • Yup problem is map size. D1 maps were much more spacious. Also some of them were huge. Making people rely on snipers and primaries more. It was nice. Gj pinpointing the actual issue with pvp. Everything is a close range cluster and it's causing spawn killing like never before. Most of the one shots are also close range it would be nice to have bigger maps suited for 6v6 I'll take my hand cannons range back with that update as well
