Not everyone is going to 'save' him so he couldn't be the speaker.

There has yet to be a speaker that was also a guardian, so it's not going to be saint. Most likely, it'll be a new character, and actually there is a new character listed in the credits named Scabretti.

Speakers are speakers due to their rare ability to receive dreams from the traveler and (i think) make sense of them. I don’t think saint has that ability.
