Bring back WEEKLY RAIDS!!!
All you have to do is put all the raids and raid lairs in a rotation and make it drop powerful gear. Random rolls on leviathan weapons would be awesome as well. Maybe even throw in some armor ornaments for people to show off.

Remember in D1, how a lot of people constantly asked for the old raids to be made relevant again? I've never seen that asked in D2. For example, no one is asking for Leviathan or any of its "layers" to be a thing again. What does that tell you, Bungie?

With how closely destiny 2 has followed basically EVERYTHING destiny 1 has done (good and bad) it wouldn’t surprise me if in the last year of its life they reprised all raids and offered exotic versions of the more popular weapons. Oh and glowing holographic versions of the armor. Can’t forget that too...

2 Replieswhy do you want to go back to do old raids and who would you do them with? If the current wave of players is in the newest raid, why do you think they will go back to run old raids with you? They likely have all they want from those raids and have no reason to go back. You would then have players with little to no experience going and running old raids.. which you can do now. The only difference is you want powerful gear to come from older content.. which would be exploited by long time and hardcore players making it even easier and quicker for them to level up and they would still not want to have noobs in their raids.. These ideas don't help the player base at all.

They need to involve the old raids and make them important. Year two rolls and stats on armours and a general revamp. I never got the spire of stars catalyst for the sleeper either. I did over 32 hard levi raids to get the acrius one.

1 ReplyI like this idea. How about, weekly contest mode raids. Completing this would give you a variation of the day one raid emblem, to show that we can still deal with the raid as it was on day one, but that we weren’t there on day one. The rewards would be an armor piece and a weapon, and both will be more likely to be something you don’t already have.

I'd be up for this! I keep wanting to run Last Wish to get armour 2.0 but LFG just wants to do Riven cheese only. Maybe weekly raids could get people to play the whole thing.
