They should incentivize guides in raids

I’m a pure solo player in D2 and I really wish they would reward raid guides so that more people would be willing to show solo players how to do them and give them a change to actually complete some of the end game content.

 • Between all the raids in D2, I have: 841 Raids completed 253 of those are sherpa runs (30%) 41 of those are guided games So there are players out there like me who do teach people. We usually do it in clan runs so we have our solid strats down and it's usually pretty painless. I do agree that the guided games system needs to be completely re-worked. It was a nice idea, but very poorly implemented by Bungie (shocking right?) There should absolutely be rewards for teaching other players. It should also be more than just a cosmetic emblem. To keep it fair to people who don't raid the rewards could be raid specific... something like an extra slot on the clan banner where after your clan does xx amount of guided games in a season, your clan earns an extra ___% boss damage buff in all raids where there are at least 2 clan members in it (or something like that). I will say this, if someone is willing to teach you then learn their strat and do it their way. Don't argue that "Datto doesn't do it that way". My clan is a raiding clan and we don't do cheese in the raids. We also don't do all the same strats that seem to come from streamers and be accepted as gospel. Often times we find a much better way to do something and it's infuriating when someone with NO clears in a raid and we are nice enough to be teaching tries to argue we should be doing it a different way. Lastly, PAY ATTENTION when we are explaining it... it burns me up when I explain an entire encounter to someone and they are saying "yep, uh huh" (acknowledging they are listening) only to finish and have them say "wait, I wasn't really listening can you say all that again"... you would be surprised how often that actually happens.
