Why is it boring? Why would a solo queue, on top of regular matchmaking, be beneficial? What are the consequences of doing this? Why implement this if the player count is dropping down? Is it going to be worth it? Why should a small group of players who selectively play together, get penalized because of another singular individual's decision on the game? This post, so far, just looks like a demand with no reasoning behind it beyond "we want it". I don't want it, does that mean "we" don't want it either?

Why should a group be penalised? I dunno, why should groups of single players be penalised for not being able to play iron banner without odds stacked against them? You're only thinking of the people who get easy games, not the ones who suffer alone, who stand no chance against a coordinated group, who also want a fair chance at winning. Create a second solo playlist, I'm sure not everyone wants to play the solo playlist, I know people who play non solo comp for example.
Why should a group be penalised? I dunno, why should groups of single players be penalised for not being able to play iron banner without odds stacked against them?
Believe me, I'm not thinking of only the players who get easy games, and even though you answered the question, at least you gave me a good follow up question. The answer is simple: Because the portion of the game that was selected to go into (Crucible in this case) is competitive. Any player, solo or not, should have enough competitive motivation to do whatever it takes to win something that challenges them. It's in our nature. LFG is there as a tool to use to attempt to satisfy that competitive need. If one chooses not to, then perhaps winning wasn't so important to begin with. Otherwise why choose to enter a mode that has such a competitive description? We are all solo players if you think about it. It's how we start off. This game as a whole has a large ratio of modes where while it doesn't mandatorily say you must have multiple people to play it, it does help to bring others together, or reveal the difference in difficulty, if that particular mode wasn't designed for solo players, which is basically a good majority of them. For anyone who says groups of players should be penalized, is ludicrous, as the nature of the game itself shows through its modes, and concepts, that its meant to ne played with others. Whether it be competitively or cooperatively is no difference. This is the main concept to remember when wanting to debate the aspect of solo players and group players, and what to do about it. Plus with IB being infrequent, it wouldn't be worth the effort to make a second playlist. That would further divide whatever player numbers are jumping into the mode as it is. There is a solo queue in Crucible for competitive anyways. So now it becomes a question of finding what was good with it, what was bad, and what can be improved.

  • What of those who can't find a group? LFG from what I've heard and seen in the past is either toxic af or only looking for very specific things that some just don't have like high K/D's. Creating a solo playlist isn't punishing groups, it's allowing everyone to make a choice. It may be seen as punishing groups since I'm sure a decent chunk of solo players would just go play solo but that's because in that case, the game is closer to being fair. If PvP is competitive, why should it be unfair just to prevent groups form feeling like they re being punished?

  • People who "play together" MUST be penalised, period.
