Erentil has no counter

Why is it that I find that erentil isn’t that difficult to counter? I feel like you gotta have some potato in you if you can’t counter it. At least listen for the pre charge and bait the shot. Use cover and what not. Most players whining about erentil are usually shotgunners that want something less to worry about.

2 RepliesFirst of all fusions are hard to use. Unlike shotguns or any of the op pinnacle weapons that are easy to use. Fusions charge up time is incredibly hard and weird to get used to and they have really funky recoil patterns. If you get killed by erentil or any fusion a lot in pvp it's because the person using it is actually a competent player and deserves to get the kill.

It’s only really good against players who push it over and over out of cover. For weapon counter: snipers, if you use snipers and complain about fusions you need to work on your sniping. To counter it you can not standing still firing a primary in the open, not stand still hard scoping in the open, not stand still waiting for heavy to spawn, not stand still. You can also not push someone you see holding a fusion out of cover, and not peek corners when you hear the very loud charging noise. Fusions are easy to counter but you do have to use your brain and respect them. Since most players can’t do that and will try and ape them they get tilted and feed all game. Fusions aren’t broken and don’t need a nerf.

4 RepliesWhile it is extremely irritating to get mapped by it, it can be countered by using its weaknesses against it. CQC is a great way to shut an fusion happy player down. After 3800 matches of crucible, it’s pretty easy to counter it most of time. The issue is it’s EASE of use, not that it’s “broken” it’s a consistently good weapon even in the hands of a “bad” player.

9 Repliesshotgun range is broken buddy... look at the stats 10% of all weapon usage in crucible is shotgung... fusion rifle usage is below 1.5%... so it is most likely that they will nerf your beloved DRB before even thinking in nerfing any fusion rifle....

3 RepliesIf there is ever a match where I can't take on an erentil user, I just stop using energy weapons to take away their ammo. If ur whole team does that then they only have those 2 starting shots and would have to pick up more from dead team mates
